Well, I had Saving Private Ryan as the best war movie but now this movie just beat it. Go buy this movie, don't think about it, just go buy it. GREAT MOVIE

This movie was well done by Mel Gibson. He captured so many details of this true story that I had to watch it several times to make sure I caught them all.

4K is the highest quality for picture and sound. I also have the blu ray, but I can see a difference with 4K

I was really skeptical of Garfields ability to carry a movie, but not only does he deliver, but Mel Gibson continues to show his amazing ability to direct.

i would recommend watching this movie. it feels like a WW@ being fought in the Pacific, which it is. it accomplishes the goal of telling the story of the combat medic and some points it even exceeds expectations of humor. the story is not uber-deep but it does a fine job and the sound is pretty good with explosions and directional gunfire.

It's a little on the violent side, and not suitable for all children. It is well written, and an excellent portrayal of the events on Hacksaw Ridge.

This movie is the next saving private Ryan. Great story, no dull moments. Great audio, no surround sound required. Best of all, good action and suspense!

James Garfield was a good Spiderman but he was perfectly cast in Hacksaw Ridge. The movie definitely inspires you to rise above violence.
