I was really skeptical of Garfields ability to carry a movie, but not only does he deliver, but Mel Gibson continues to show his amazing ability to direct.

It's a little on the violent side, and not suitable for all children. It is well written, and an excellent portrayal of the events on Hacksaw Ridge.

This movie is an amazing story of sticking to your beliefs in one of the most hostile environments in history. A must for anybody who appreciates history.

This is a great movie. It is not for anyone that can’t stand seeing blood, but that should obvious since it is a war movie. Based on a true story.

i would recommend watching this movie. it feels like a WW@ being fought in the Pacific, which it is. it accomplishes the goal of telling the story of the combat medic and some points it even exceeds expectations of humor. the story is not uber-deep but it does a fine job and the sound is pretty good with explosions and directional gunfire.

Best war picture since Private Ryan. Well worth your time. This story is closely based on a true one and this only makes the story more compelling.
