This has a great story. It is very well done. The war scenes are very realistic and put you right on the battlefield.

I didn't realize this movie actually happened in WW2. This man risked his life without a gun saving wounded soldiers.

Occasionally soapy on the homefront but cataclysmic in combat, this is a worthy addition to the WWII canon.

Pretty good movie directed by Mel Gibson who's is known for great movies. I must say at time the movie became a little dull to me but overall I would recommend it. A lot of people were saying this movie was the best war film ever. Not better than saving private Ryan in my opinion.
