I enjoyed the movie but felt that parts of it were like trying to watch Full metal Jacket again.

Too much character development in the first half, second half better w more action and rescues.

The movie wasn't that great to be honest. The story however is amazing. Just poorly executed.

"Hacksaw Ridge" is a good movie but is burdened with overplayed and gory battle scenes.

Our problem was during the movie this displayed: Cinavia Message Code 3. It muted sound and looking up code on, it talks about dvd being a copy or homemade video and that I could download update to dvd Blu-ray ( Samsung) we watched another dvd that was recently purchased and had no problem

Lots of shoot em up and blood and guts. However, lots of action too.

I was expecting very little from this picture. I bought it simply to complete my list of Oscar nominated films. The first half hour is almost unwatchable, but stick with it. The acting styleS are strange and inconsistent. A valiant story told better than expected by meh director Mel Gibson.

Good movie and you get what you expect and it's worth it.
