I enjoy movies based on true life events. This one is no different. This movie depicts the life of Desmond Doss and he passion for his religion and standing up for what he believes is right. He has love and action all in one. Great movie!

A war objector decides to enlist to do what he could for his country. Those around him don't believe that & want him relieved of duty with a less than honorable discharge. He prevails & becomes a hero during one battle for high ground.

This is my favorite war movie. It's up there with saving private ryan and black hawk down.

had read the story of this man and the movie does him justice. the movie is brutal so if you are faint of heart be warned. that said it is a great story of bravery and sacrifice. it would hard seeing today's snowflakes doing the same thing.

Started off slow almost like "The NOtebook" story l. Got really good prob 1/2 hour into it.
