A truly great movie. The backstory showing what Doss went through to even be able to serve is extraordinary. Don't miss this movie. But be prepared, it shows war as it really is.

This movie is a must have, I was amazed on how realistic this movie is made to fit actual events in history. The acting is superb and the visual and sound effects are great.

A very dark, emotional film. 4K Ultra HD disc allows those who have purchased a 4K HDR TV and blu-ray player to fully exploit the capabilities of those TV's--and it truly is a treat. Well worth the price of admission.

This is one of the best faith based war movies. Love the conviction demonstrated to stay true and trust in God for answers and courage in the faces of the most impossible odds. Had to own it in 4K.

Hacksaw Ridge is a wonderful story of a conscientious objector, who refused to carry a weapon. He turned into a selfless hero by saving many American soldiers during the battle of Okinawa. I highly recommend the movie.

One of my favorite war films of all time! Andrew Garfield‘s performance in this movie was nothing short of spectacular.

While there is a fair amount of violence, language and some nudity, this movie does a great job telling the story of conscientious objector during WWII, Desmond Doss. The movie is a fascinating as the subject matter.

Hacksaw Ridge is an amazing true story that challenged me to the core of my being. As a man dedicated to my Lord and Country this movie inspired me to love and serve them both with a renewed enthusiasm and commitment.

I’ve seen this movie multiple times and it’s great every single time. I always recommend it to friends and family that are into war movies.

Not only is the movie so fantastic, on my 4K supporting XBox One S and 4K LG Television the quality is pristine! Though to me the difference between 4K and 1080p is just slightly, some differences are very satisfying.

Always thought so little of this movie but seeing Andrew Garfield play a war vet hero and have the story told from beginning to end, just amazed me on how good the movie is along with the acting.

This is a true story worth watching. Saving the lives of fellow soldiers during the war without a weapon because of his belief to not bear arms was remarkable. He deserved to be honored for his valor. Excellent movie!

We loved the movie, and loved the great price Best Buy was selling it for. I always check out the "new releases" cause Best Buy usually has the latest and greatest movies in stock!!!! And the prices are great!!!!!!

The story line is an intriguing one. The history of what this soldier was able to overcome & do is just amazing. In 4k the graphics, special effects & details are just mind blowing. An awesome movie beginning to end.

Picture and sound quality in 4K is unsurpassed, but it was the story that surprised me. I had never heard of such a story previously about WW II and thought it was well told. It is a great addition to my collection!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I was unaware that the Medal of Honor was ever given to a conscientious objector. This man most certainly did deserve the medal. This is a great addition to my WW II movie collection.

No matter what you cant take it away that Mel Gibson knows how to direct a movie.....this is his best to date and I know there will be more yet! Gotta add this one to your collection with "passion" etc........

The movie, which is a true story, does an exceptional job of capturing the heroics of Private Doss, a non-combatant whose character, devotion to duty, and courage/bravery earned him the Congressional Medal of Honor.

One of the better war films,I put it on a level of "saving Private Ryan". Worth watching, realistic war scenes, so if you have a problem with blood and gore, pick a Disney movie. This one isn't for the weak of heart.

I really enjoyed the story (it is a true story) the action was great but it was a side note, just added entertainment to help you really get into and feel what the main hero was going through in his life and the war.
