Outstanding movie based on a true story. Is actually hard to believe that it is based on a true story but was well done and inspiring.

Like a lot of people, I jumped off the Mel Gibson bandwagon after some seriously bad behavior by him, but I heard such good things about Hacksaw that I decided to give it a try. Despite the director, this is an excellent movie. All credit to the cast. A war movie that leaves you feeling some hope for the human race. Worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie. It not only depicted a war with many injuries/deaths, but also a very courageous young man (true story).

I have recommended this movie to my family and friends. So far it's been a tear jerker for those who watched it. It worth watching again and again.

What can I say about the purchase I made, only thing is Best Buy is the only place I buy my products at. I am a very satisfied customer every time.

I don't normally like these types of movies and my husband talked me into watching this one but It did not disappoint. there was not a dull moment.

Love the fact that this is a real story. It's so moving and inspirational. He believes a certain way and never wavers from it. What courage.

Hacksaw Ridge a fantastic movie base on true story during World War 2. Mel Gibson did great job with this film. I highly recommend you watch this.

This movie which was based on a true story is as good as id say saving Private Ryan. The Actors who portrayed were the right people for the job.

Saw this movie at the theater and knew I wanted it. This movie inspires people to be who they are. Great war movie. Great love story. Great movie!

Let me preface by sayin many people told me Hacksaw Ridge was a great movie so I had high expectations coming in. The last 20-30 minutes of the movie is great, the first 1.5 hours seems to build to that. Love story is spot on. Something was just missing, it was good but not great (maybe expectations were too high).

This movie is extremely well done. The action is great but the real story is in the acting Andrew Garfield nails it.. you will not be disappointed

Deserving of all the awards. Best war movie since Saving Private Ryan. Plays the emotional level like Ryan, Chariots and Notebook rolled together.

This movie will definitely pull at your heart strings! It is a war movie and it is graphic. But the story is inspiring. Definitely worth watching!

This movie has lots of action and based on a true story. A little bit to graphic for young viewers. The story was very interesting.

I didn't know what to expect from this one. My husband picked it out, and it ended up being a really great movie! I most definitely recommend it.
