Wish I could have seen it on the big screen. Being a medic in the military this movie really showed me what it was like during WW II.

Movie was great. It is great no matter how old you are. My son (21) enjoyed it, as well as my father (82). A must see for sure.

Really good movie, but if you're buying this as an action movie, well, it has some action, but it takes an hour to get to the action.

It is an amazing looking period war film. Beautifuly directed and edited. It was in my top 3 movies of the year. Only behind The Nice Guys and Manchester by the Sea. The only reason it wasn't higher on my list is the religious aspects feel heavy handed at time. But, it is the best war film I've ever seen.

Was not let down , the story line was great and to the point, and full of action and the reality of war, highly recommend this movie

Really the only word for this movie is intense. Not sure how much poetic license was taken, but I know it's based on a true story.
