Witty Take on Hollywood
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.George Clooney doesn't disappoint leading a stellar cast in this impossible send up of the old (sic currant) Hollywood industry. I laughed during every frame and had to rewind often just to savor each joke. The plot twists while improbable only heighten the fun to the extreme. LOVED IT!

Good but not great. Very much a Coen movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed this movie, I am a huge fan of the Coen Brothers' films. This isn't a particularly strong entry but it has its moments. Brolin and Alden Ehrenreich were a treat to watch.

Cohen Brothers do it again

It is a throwback to a different era while still bringing ancient conflicts into the contemporary. Tastefully done, acting is top notch, and the cinematography is a spectacle indeed. Enjoy this eye candy at once!

Another great Coen Brothers film

The Coen brothers are an acquired taste but I think they hit another home run with Hail, Caesar. Great cast, good story. Not too often do you see a movie that goes back to the golden age of Hollywood. Definitely recommended.
