Best buy is just a all around a awesome places!!!.

Great looking steelbook, but the October 2021 ShoutFactory release is a better transfer/version.

The digital code included with my copy did not work (VUDU could not "find the promo"). Also, the 1080p copy doesn't seem to be the same Lionsgate release that comes with the non-Steelbook edition. Haven't checked it out yet, but I'm hoping it's the superior Anchor Bay release. All things being equal, it's not a very good 4K transfer. I think the previous anniversary Bluray is much better.

I have a high end Sony TV and UDP 4K player and I bought the best buy brand 4K cable but not much difference in picture from BluRay to 4K...

This is not the brown digibook edition just the regular blu-ray. Movie is the same but the package is average

I love classic slasher films and Halloween is one of those that you can always watch.

This is the 2nd movie I have purchased from Best Buy in the past month with an issue. First movie was actually used and missing the blu ray. This one had some sort of oil within the case and the discs were sticky and scratched . I bought a NEW movie not used. There quality control team is not doing there job. Returns is a pain. Calling customer service is useless. I will be shopping elsewhere for my movies and maybe everything else. Not a happy customer. Keep your bonus points for my review.

Great best Halloween number one in Halloween movies

Absolutely trash. You buy a 4K movie, its littered with 4K all over the packaging. But when you redeem the digital copy it's in HD 1080p. Lionsgate is a trash studio. BAIT AND SWITCH. If it is a HD digital copy you should state that as HD. It doesnt, but has 4K logos all over the package. Dont worry though they will release the 4K version digitally next year to make more money on a 42 year old movie. Not consumer friendly at all.

I bought two copies of this movie. I consider it the best horror movie ever. After pre-ordering them online, they never arrived at my house. I was extremely disappointed. Now that they are sold out, and I am unable to purchase them anywhere, I would have to pay an exorbitant markup on eBay to own a copy. I was very, very upset about this. It is my favorite movie of all time, and I was looking very forward to owning this steelbook.

Out dated release with inferior color timing and audio options to the latest release. Not recommend.

For the awesome art work on steel book, yes for a collector, but for 99 per of everyone else, it's exactly the same 4k that came out in 2018 to concide with the movie in theaters, & the Blu-ray in this steel book is 100‰ NOT NOT the 35th anniv edition that carpenter over saw. It's an older sucky Blu-ray that looks goofy. But the art is cool. Yup about it.

SHIPPED TO MY HOME AND CAME IN DAMAGED DUE TO VERY POOR PACKAGING BY YOUR WAREHOUSE SHIPPING DEPARTMENT. IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE SHOT THE STEELBOOK WITH A BB GUN. STEELBOOKS SHOULD BE SHIPPED ONY IN BOXES, NEVER IN THE BAGS THAT BB ALWAYS USES!!!!
