I was surprised how clear this was lots of details even in the darkest of screens with the exception of when Michael was doing his thing things got a little less clear. I have to watch it again with out my wife she jumped so much .

Not a slasher fan but my we caught the world premiere at the film festival. And... wow, just great. "It does what it says on the tin" - only better. No spoilers - but scary, gory, engaging and surprisingly funny. Great acting. I'm not converted to be a slasher fan, but this gets my big thumbs up. Bravo.

The TRUE sequel to the original Halloween (1978), it reboots everything starting from Halloween 2. Proper tribute is paid to its original film without ever forgetting how terrifying Michael Myers is and makes Laurie Strode a badass in similar veins of Sarah Conner from the Terminator franchise.

Halloween (2018) is a direct sequel to the original Halloween movie, they bring back Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie. And the original guy that played Michael Myers, it's a solid horror movie throughout besides one dumb thing. But if you're a fan of horror or the franchise in general, make sure to check it out 8/10

It is too bad this steelbook sold out on release day. It is really amazing in design. I love mine and one can only hope a second print comes. Even if you cant get the steelbook; own this movie, it is a must own for Halloween fans!

I have been a fan of the Halloween movies since I was a teenager. I'm very impressed with the New Movie. It's worth buying. I highly recommend the Movie . It was very nice to see Jamie Lee Curtis come back to the Movie Franchise.

I am a huge Halloween franchise fan. But let’s be honest, the sequels were terrible. Won’t even waste time on the reboot. This was a proper sequel to Halloween 2. Jamie lee Curtis was awesome on her return. A must have.

If I’m reviewing the steelbook then I have to say five stars. Todd McFarlane of Spawn and horror toys fame did the artwork which is rare and awesome. The movie on the other hand isn’t great. I’d say average or below and a disappointment overall. So I’ll split the difference and go four stars-good.

Having followed these films since their inception, my enjoyment and disappointment has been up and down. With this sequel, all you need is 1 and 2 and now this one. Truly a wonderfully executed follow up to the mythos....enjoy

I enjoy this movie contrary to popular opinion in the horror fanbase. It was just nice to see Carpenter at the helm again for the Halloween franchise. It really enjoyed seeing the follow-up of Meyers years later.

For those thinking this is a reboot it's not . It's a proper sequel to the original. It's great movie with new ideas and proven ideas. If your a fan of the original you will love this one. You definitely need to pick this up

I'm always a fan of all Halloween movies and Jamie Lee Curtis did an amazing job. The movie is enjoyable to watch but very Predictable. other than that I still enjoyed it anyway and Its a must watch for all Halloween fans.

Even creepier than the first movies, and you thought they couldn't get any scarier! Man, this movie is the best one ever and you will love how Jamie Curtis gets her shot at him again! You have to watch this one!

One of my favorite movies to get in the spirit of Halloween is the original Halloween. There sequels are all dreadful except this one. Would say that this a solid 7/10, however, does not live up to the original. The 4k transfer is ok. I didn't see much improvement compared to the blu ray.

Ok if you are a fan of the Halloween franchise then you know what you are getting. if not then this isn't really the best starting point. the blu has excellent picture and sound and certainly does the movie justice.

This sequel is for real. The original part 2 was not as bad but this one is better. Jamie Lee Curtis is terrific. Will it be the end finally? Maybe. Just watch very carefully the very end and reach your own conclusion.

This is a great movie, definitely revived my love for the franchise! And the fact that I get to watch Michael himself in 4K is exciting. The detail is beautiful, you can see a lot of detail in his aged mask.

I went into this somewhat skeptical as I enjoyed the Halloween franchise until it jumped the shark in some of the later movies. The newest Halloween while paying homage to its lineage stands on its on and is a very decent film. Looking forward to the redone Halloween II as a result.

Great movie with lots of throwbacks! Halloween is back! I recommend watching Part 1 and 2 first before watching this. Lots of great throwbacks to the originals while making it fresh and new and continuing the story.

Great "reboot" sequel to the Halloween series. If you like the original, you will appreciate this sequel that makes some familiar callbacks to previous films. Not to mention its worth watching in glorious 4K!
