The 2018 "Halloween" reboot manages to be a worthy entry into the long-running franchise! Jamie Lee Curtis is back in the role of Laurie Strode, and I really enjoyed the diffrent approach she brought to the character! And of course, everyone's favorite invincible slasher Michael Myers is back! I'm really interested to see where the series goes from here!

I really enjoyed this movie and the characters in it. Was a good story by Danny McBride and love the plot twists in the film that I didn't see coming. Also brought a new perspective to the character of Micheal Myers proving he is the king of all horror characters.

One of the best films of 2018 and the salvation of a franchise, presented in a fully loaded gorgeous Best Buy exclusive steelbook with 4k, Blu-ray and digital included, teeming with bonus features and that stunning cover art. Essential for the season and beyond.

It was nice to see them take this movie seriously. This was done in the style of the original movie and was a perfect follow-up. The thing to keep in mind is that this movie bahaves as though only the original movie existed. The previous sequels do not exist.

This is the Halloween follow up that is arguably as good if not better than the original film. All other installments have been erased and this one comes 40 years after the events of the original film. O feel they could stop here and leave a great legacy.

Michael Myers has always been my favorite horror villain.. no matter how cheesy the sequels were, I still couldn’t get enough.. this one goes back to form and is the direct sequel to the original. Very nice to see Myers back and scarier than ever. Must watch

i'm an admitted Halloween fanboy. I loved this movie. it was everything I wanted from a modern sequel to the classic. did they flip shots and storybeats from the original? yup, and it works. at the end of the day, it's still true: YOU CAN'T KILL THE BOOGEYMAN!!!

This version of Halloween is almost as good as the original. Great cinematography and engaging storyline. While much of the film takes place in darker arena's, there is still enough dynamic color range to be presented in a very good 4K presentation. A must see!

This new take on the Halloween movie story is extremely well-done, even for people not familiar with the other movies. It can basically stand alone almost like a new story. Extra scenes and commentary are also good for more die-hard fans, overall good package!

Of all the Halloween movies, this is by far my favorite. The story line is not cheesy and the depiction of serial killer Micheal Myers is brought to life. This is a chiller of a thriller and I highly recommend watching if you have not seen it.

I definitely enjoyed the movie, recommended. In the lead up to the steelbook the pre-release pics were a bit underwhelming but man having this in hand, this is one of the better recent steelbook releases. Definitely recommend if you are a steelbook collector!

As before Michael is still a person of interest and you can never predict his next move. Everyone in the movie is effected some way by Michael or other relations. Everyone thinks Michael died in a fire but we have to wait to the next Halloween movie to see.

It’s not your children’s Halloween movie. Take the original 1978 Halloween and modernize it, add some extra gore, with some extra humor, and you will have the core of this film. Not better than the original but still probably the third best in the franchise.

After 'only' 40 years, finally a true sequel, named the same as the 1978 original! Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode, yet this time she is prepared for Michael Myers' murderous spree! See this worthy sequel in stunning 4K for extra chills!

Great triple choice for viewing of the Halloween franchise. Nostalgic & loyal purchase.

This is not, I repeat...NOT a review of the film so much as it is a review of the BluRay. The film itself is fun, scary, and a worthy installment in the franchise horror fans so dearly love. You can tell that the filmmakers put a lot of time, care, and love into their creation. No, this review is for the BluRay itself- why on EARTH are there so few Special Features? You can't tell me that they didn't film a boatload of extras. I'm guessing they're holding it back for another, future "special" edition release. Which is part and parcel for the franchise itself- they milk the "Halloween" brand for as many editions of releases as possible, sadly. But, diehard fans like myself will buy every single one because we want all the archival stuff we can get- and the studio is aware of this. So they milk it. So, count on another edition soon, I'm sure. In the meantime, wait for this thing to drop to around $10- it's worth it for the film itself!

Halloween (2018) is such a fun film. With so many Halloween movies out there, it was a little refreshing knowing this is a direct sequel to the original 40 years later. Fun movie and awesome steelbook. Add to your collection if you can! Highly recommended.

This is a direct sequel to the original one that came out in 1978. You are suppose to ignore all the others. I have only seen the original and “ 2” and now this one. Which is fine, because those are the only ones you need. The rest are terrible I heard.

Such a fun movie. If you are a fan of Micheal then you'll love this one. A good follow-up to the original Halloween movie that follows Laurie Strode's life and the repurcussion of that fateful nights against the 'Boogeyman'. Love this movie!

John Carpenter and team go back to where it all started. This story line takes place 40 years later. Non of the other story lines exist except the first one, and maybe the second. It shows the trauma and self perseverance Laurie Strode took after that evening. It shows how it affected her personal life and family.
