Finally a proper Steelbook release! They put out Halloween and a separate Steelbook without the 4K and now we get a definitive release on a Steelbook with a slip cover. My second favorite Steelbook release of the year

I love this movie to bits, and when I saw this steelbook design, I had to double dip (despite already owning a different steelbook of it) and owning 3 other copies. This steelbook is by far one of the best designs I’ve seen

Good 4k picture and sound. My only issue is the steel book itself doesn't have a crisp closing feel to it, they generally are hit and miss if inner plastic tabs aren't just right. However with that said, it's still nice.

Halloween is a CLASSIC horror movie, and the 4K Scream Factory edition doesn’t disappoint. This version of Halloween is a must add for all physical media collectors.

John Carpenter's Masterpiece! I was never a big fan of the Halloween movies. Never seen the original but once I saw it I was astonished by the style John Carpenter brought. Incredible!

This blu ray has amazing picture quality!!!..they did an amazing job with this transfer...You would think it made this year, if you didn't know better... Still one of my favorite movies, ever and it truly deserved this quality!!

I didnt know this was out on blu-ray...but after searching for 20 minutes at my local Best Buy there it was and it was the cover that grabbed me and the movie on blu-ray was like it was filmed yesterday...AAAA++++ recommended

It’s simply one of the best horror films of all time. There is no denying that. It’s perfect on 4K, and that is the way to watch it! It’s a classic for a reason!

Classic film in 4K with a brand new steelbook. I love it! I already own the Blu ray of this film, but to have it in this super cool steelbook and in 4k makes this a great addition to any Halloween fan’s collection.

If you live under a rock and haven't seen this movie, you're a sad creature. But if you're an American, and have seen this many times, you're going to LOVE the 4K rendition! GREAT detail to an already timeless classic. Just sad no digital copy included.

This is a great 4k movie. The new color timing really makes this movie stand out, it is changed from the original but it just makes this look better than ever.

This is a steelbook edition worth owning. The artwork is stunning and the slipcover is a brilliant addition to help protect the case and it also adds more flair. Definitely a must have for steelbook collectors.

Im impressed with this new 4k transfer. Love it sounds good to. I have the older 4k transfer and this one is the best . Kudos for shout factory love the artwork on the box cover .

This steelbook is great The slipcase adds to the overall image. The image quality is on par with the last remaster and I wouldn’t say this is a huge upgrade over it, but the case alone is worth the purchase.

Another Cult Classic by Best Buy, the complete Halloween collection in 4k. I was surprised by the slipcover which is more like a book holder and I liked it, very cool collection.

What can I say? Its Halloween, we've all seen it. It's the classic slasher movie that started it all. The reason to buy this is the blu ray transfer. So clear it's like watching it for the first time all over again.

Halloween has never looked so good. If you have to upgrade it’s definitely worth it for fans. I don’t know if it’s leaps and bounds over the Blu-ray but if you love Halloween then this is the sharpest it’s ever looked!

This is my first steelbook purchased and I am glad it was this one. No dents, no scratches, and no damage. Has a slipcover for the actual steelbook. I recommend picking this steelbook up if you have not yet.

Should you upgrade to 4K if you have the excellent boxed set? If you're a true fan, probably. The 4K upgrade is good in some places. It's not going to "wow" you but you can see subtle differences. The audio is good (the 5.1 track is well-designed; the mono does sound a bit flat). Controversy will surround the Blu-ray disc as it's the one that fans cried foul on due to the color timing. If you have the boxed set, ignore this disc. Overall, a pretty good upgrade and get it on sale.
