John Carpenter is no doubt an underrated director. Halloween is his greatest film. He briefly shows you glimpses of Michael Myers then when he shows him completely the chase begins. Recommended for any movie buff

I have been wanting this movie for a long time and I finally got it and for a great price! It also is the 35th anniversary edition. I browsed on different web sites and I got it here for the most reasonable price!

Great movie with awesome picture. Good restoration. Classic for all horror genre fans. Done by great director who made a number of major classic today.

The best this movie has ever looked. And a great set, also containing a wealth of extras, the TV cut and the original color timing.

I have the complete set, but this has a look that I could not pass up to add to the greatest slasher of all time. Worth every blood drenched penny.

An outstanding transfer and overall package for a stone-cold classic that's marred by poor compression (especially noticeable on my 65in screen in skies/walls). Overall I still found this to be a major improvement over previous blu-rays, and even slightly improved over the Lionsgate 4K.

This is for the Halloween fans out there that want too see how it looked when it first came out!

Michael Myers in 4K from the Scream collection. Featuring great track commentaries. A true classic.

This is how horror should be. Suspense, build up, then horror. Pacing and mood well timed. Sound added not distracted like many sound tracks. Well done all around.

A gorgeous and classy steelbook. IMO the best looking one to date. Feels like the fall. A staple movie, One of the four basic slasher food groups.

This is 1 of the best horror movies of all time, I just wish they would make horror movies like b 4 these horror movies they make now r so corny and wack.

The best boogeyman movie ever made. I can watch this movie many times. Every year it’s on many times and I still don’t tire from it. Great horror film.

It's the must watch movie every Halloween. It's not the first slasher movie, but it's the one that defined the genre and brought us the unkillable killer. Michael Myers is the ominous unstoppable villain and Jaime Lee Curtis played the perfect damsel in distress. It also taught us that the pure ones are the only ones who have a chance of survival! If you've never seen this, you owe yourself at least one viewing.

4k transfer definitely improves and makes this older (and cheaper made film) look much better than some previous released versions. Orginal film is still far and away best of the series.

There's nothing more that can be said about this movie that hasn't already been said.

This is a classic film and Lionsgate treats it with respect. Excellent video and audio quality 4K release. Awesome cover artwork. The only complaint I have is that this release doesn't include much special bonus features. Not a big deal though, but I will definitely be buying the sequels if they get released in 4K. Highly recommended if you're a fan of the Halloween franchise.
