I have been a fan of the Halloween series for years but never owned them on DVD.

This is one of my favorite horror films ever made and it looks fantastic in 4K!

The 4K version did not disappoint. Great to have this in the movie collection.

Great movie. I'm not sure if there's a difference in picture quality between 4k and High Def because the movie was made in 1978. But it still looks awesome and is way better than my previous DVD copy.

Though it's a bit more expensive than the previous 4K release was, the amount of special features and the inclusion of two different color graded versions of the film make it feel worthwhile. The packaging makes it seem line a premium quality product as well, with a sturdy, hard board slip cover and reversalble inlay that let's you display either the new art or classic jack o'lantern art. The film itself is the best it has ever looked as well, bringing alot of clarity to the picture while maintaining its grainy, filmic look. Highly recommended for any fan of the franchise or film buffs.

I won't review Halloween because it's clearly the best of the best when it comes to horror. So first off the 4k presentation is off the wall amazing. Its one of the best 4ks available. The tone is less brown and much cooler and natural. It is like watching it for the first time. But I think it's fantastic I will never be able to watch the standard Blu. Highly recommend. As far as the steelbook. If you're lucky enough to find one, buy it. This art is very well done. And they even include a clear slipcover that gives the art a 3d flare. I picked this up at the same price as the standard release so I'm ecstatic so get it so cheap. But it's worth 30$ . So if yo see it for anything less then that. Don't think twice. Just buy it.
