Its an overall great 4k scan of an overall great film.

I believe this sequel after the first is full of shock, and frightening scenes. Dr.Lumas was great and Michael has a rage that couldn't be stopped. Laurie showed how acting is done in a horror. I recommend this classic movie. Halloween at its finest.

Unpopular opinion, perhaps, but I think Halloween II is pretty great. Sure it's not as novel as the original, but it feels like a direct continuation of the original, tone, pacing and all. Some sequels try to stand out or take it up a notch, but Two feels like we're still watching One, but the very extended cut. The ending is a bit much, I admit and probably the reason they went a different and not well received direction by excluding Michael Myers from it. This bluray has very decent video/sound quality and the special features are great for people who want behind the scenes info.

I'm a big fan of al the HALLOWEEN movies. The music score sets the eerie vibe. I think that the fist two movies are THE BEST; but I love them all. My wife on the other hand hates scary movies. The HALLOWEEN franchise is one of the best; next to FRIDAY THE 13TH and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. THEY ARE my 3 best movie franchises of all.

This is the Universal issued Blu of Halloween II. I like the transfer a little better than the one in ShoutFactory's box set, and it contains the feature documentary "Terror in the Aisles," which is a collection of horror film clips up to the early 80s (when the film was released). Its an awesome doc for horror fans, and those interested in getting a sampler of some older horror flicks. Plus it stars Donald Pleasance and Nancy Allen in the wraparound bits. Pick up this edition of Halloween II for "Terror in the Aisles" alone!
