    So-So

I had heard good and bad things about this movie, so I decided to give it a chance, hoping that it might win me over. Unfortunately, I was kind of disappointed. I was willing to go along with the new narrative that this film is supposed to take place in. After the first film I assume. It was good to see Jamie Lee Curtis back in action fighting "The Shape", but I found everyone else dislikable and irritating. The plot was not very convincing. To many "What are you kidding" moments in this flick. It's also a little woke, not real bad but its there. There are are some good action scenes but that is it. The 4k transfer is pretty good.

Although I love all of the Halloween movies, this "sequel" was an interesting one. I don't, however, like that none of the other Halloween movies (after the original 70s one) "matter" in the entire string of the movie series.

Now this is how to revive the Halloween franchise! Its so refreshing to see a fresh breath of air installed in this series. Jaimie Lee Curtis is back and brilliant as ever. She is paired with her daughter, played by Judy Greer and her granddaughter. A sort of passing of the torch for a new generation. Halloween is full of spooky and moody horror that slips right up on you. I was overly impressed with this installment and I want more.

Halloween is my favorite horror movie franchise, so I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed. But it had some good moments, and it was nice to see Jamie Lee Curtis back as Laurie Strode.

This movie seems like a better sequel than the other halloween movies that followed the original back then. It’s more interesting to watch than Halloween 2 since this one focuses more on character development decades later rather than serve as a third act to the original. It also looked nice in 4K HD. It’s definitely recommended for halloween fans wanting a good follow up to the franchise in recent times.

After a long absence, Jamie Lee Curtis returns for her signature role and she's excellent. Wished there was a stronger script waiting for her. Lotsa time wasted on uninteresting characters and a half baked finale.

Very good sequel to the original 1978 classic. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode, who survived the knife-wielding madman, only now she is in hiding and preparing for a final horrifying battle with the shape. If you like the original franchise, new jumps and scares await! 2 more sequels are on the way, I hope they keep the quality high for them. Hope this spoiler free review helps.

A decent horror movie for a newer generation, but not the classic or revival of the franchise that was expected. Recommended if you’re a fan of the of new horror but enthusiasts will be disappointed.

A must have for Halloween fans. Great picture quality, great sound for the 4K. Not as good as the original or Halloween II but better than everything else in the series including the Rob Zombie version.

I saw this in theater and at the time I thought it was good but maybe I couldn't really fully focus on it so I came out with the perspective that it was just OK. However this home release is excellent. In my opinion it's better than what I saw at theater. The picture is crisp, the sound is great. Much more enjoyable watched at home. Definitely recommend it for any Halloween fan.

For picture quality I give it 3. and a half out of five.Audio same as picture.Colors were a little washed out at times but that may have been the directors intention. The movie itself was ok.G

Overall good movie, I liked how it went from part one to 40 years later, I was expecting more but I guess they need to leave something for the next movie, which I'm sure is coming soon.

A modern sequel to a movie made in 1978.

A modern sequel to a movie made in 1978. If you haven't seen Halloween, ask yourself this...What the matter with me? This movie is a great follow up to the film which kicked off the Slasher Movie Genre. Michael Myers is back and he only has one thing in mind, returning home to the only place he's ever known on his favorite night.

The movie began strong, and even created a palpable sense of tension, but too many things in the second and third act raised too many eyebrows and questions. Disappointed is the word

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, who is a fan of the Halloween series. The movies with Jamie Lee Curtis are the best ones, so of the others are total stinkers, but then again I'm not a die-hard fan. Judy Greer plays a passable version of Laurie Strode's daughter, and the simmering conflict between them is well portrayed. The portrayal of Michael Myers is very good as he slices and dices his way through some of the minor characters.

Although the steelbook artwork is beautiful, the movie itself is quite disappointing. I was very excited for John Carpenter to return, but it just doesn't live up to expectations.

This also wasn’t the worst Halloween movie. I found it to be very predictable and cheesy at times. But it was cool to see Michael and Laurie on the big screen in a new film.

I grow up with the Halloween franchise and had some fears that this reboot/sequel would go down horribly but I'm so happy I was wrong. Won't get much into spoilers but I really loves ths story and surprisingly kinda of gory( although not like Zombies Remakes).

Halloween from a huge horror fan was great to see Michael Myers back in action. A more violent killer in this one and great to see Jamie back in the film. Over a great horror film and a must-see for fans of the series. The Blu Ray combo is great and with digital code is always a great perk for me.
