The Halloween movies have always been near the top of my list as a classic favorite. I actually had the chance to see this Halloween one whenever it was out in the theaters two years ago, I enjoyed seeing it a lot in IMAX. Since then I’ve watched it several times at home.

Horror movie not quite what you expected. Some time remaking over and over is not the greatest. Yes we will watch but not like.

Of course it started with such great promise, but I found myself drifting during the last 40 minutes. Good premise, bad execution.

I would rate this film as the best sequel to the original Halloween. It brings us back to Halloween night where the neighborhood is in danger again. And not just two houses this time. There are some nice twists to the story without repeating the original film. This is a nice 4k transfer as well. The material does not require a 4k version to enjoy.

This one disavows all the previous reboots and continuations. It only acknowledges the events of the original. Laurie is a recluse, awaiting Michaels return. She has prepared all her life, even at the cost of losing her family. Solid story and acting. And Michael is a killing machine! This is the first of a trilogy.

It was entertaining at first. I won’t spoil anything, but the ending was rather week. I’d rent it before considering to buy it.

great movie I liked it better than the Rob Zombie one's not saying that the Rob Zombie one where bad , they are not,, this one was good It had the feel of a John Carpenter movie and I liked that very much.. and that was very good...

I really liked this movie. I am a Halloween fan and I feel that they did it right. Sometimes it has that nostalgia feel sometimes it feels more like some kind of phantom echo through the years. Michael Myers to me will always be the scariest. he truly is The Shape. he is what scares you the most. Doesn't communicate doesn't stop. Just keeps rolling.

Good movie. Pretty much a remake of Halloween :H20. This one ignores all sequels making it a direct sequel to the original. Like I said, it’s pretty much a redo of H20 except it’s 40 years later and Michael has been in prison the entire time. Jamie Lee Curtis is great as always , but I prefer H20 over this. Picture quality is good with basic HDR10.

2018's Halloween is another great chapter in the popular Halloween horror series . It's a direct sequel to the original & omits all the previous sequels . A very entertaining , original take on the story . A great addition to any horror collection !

A good movie, not great. Plot could have been tighter and characters more developed. But a nice addition to the series.

Not one of the best, but given the rate of all the Halloween sequels, this one is not too bad. Still, worth a view.

What's not to like? I saw it in theaters and I don't like wasting money on movie tickets, but I had to see this. I loved it. So naturally I had to buy it when I could, and the 4K looks amazing. If you're a Halloween fan, you probably already have this.

I guess I was expecting more from Jamie, it was still good though. Just don't pay the extra money for the steel book.

If you have watch the first movie in this series you pretty much will no what will happen, only the end is different.

Lots of kills but not as many trills. I would leave Jamie Lee out of the next one and focus on the grand daughter.

Really, really liked this 2018 Blu-Ray/ DVD —Halloween. Would highly recommend to other. A great horror film. Scary, tense. Steel book beautiful. Great for the collector. Film not for those that are scared easily. Watch with a friend.

I hate horror movies, but the Halloween series has been an exception and this movie feels like a return to form. It has some flaws but has been one of the better Halloween films to come in a long time in my opinion. I enjoyed watching this take on the sequel to Halloween and am definitely glad I saw it. Check it out especially if horror movies are your thing.

Had to replace the original steelbook that was released. This one is much better artwork for an ok movie.
