Tea Kettle with strange manufacturer smell

Just make sure you fill it up and bring to boil 4-5 times before use. First 3 uses smelled like sour milk for some reason, I'm assuming just because it was new. Package came dented and there's a small scuff from the delivery.

I returned it and got another one and that one also tasted like chemcials :(

Not that great, leaks onto the base
