In all my years of online shopping I can only think of two other times I gave a bad review. The reviews on this product were good and I couldn't disagree more. In a week I tried 3 different fried items and all were a failure. Each time with fresh corn oil. It's now in my garage waiting for one of my friends to take it

My hubby decided he was inviting a couple of friends over for the football game a couple of weeks ago and decided he wanted wings. Well, I didn't have time to do a lot of research and decided to purchase from Best Buy because I have a credit card and I wanted the points. :) Well, this happened to be the only one in the store so I purchased it. Of course I was upset that I didn't have any options and was tempted to go to Walmart to look for another one but thought, what the heck...just get it. Well, I'm glad I did purchase it because it has been awesome. I was able to fry up a batch of wings in no time and hubby loved them. The only negative to this one is that it could've been a little larger but overall, a really nice deep fryer and I'm satisfied. If looking for a deep fryer to fry for lots of folks, this one may be a tad to small but defintiely perfect for a small family. By the way, we've been using it like crazy to fry fish, shrimp, more chicken and I'm considering oysters. :) Oh, be careful because this baby can cause unwanted weight gain. :) You won't be disappointed!

No easy to clean and it accumulates dirty stuff very fast. Takes long on heating up and not very ergonomic
