I purchased this for my parents, so they can mix powdered drinks better than shaking. It does the job, while being easy for them to set up and use (they both have issues with hands and twisting things). This product is very easy to use, and is very convenient. I especially like that the mixer blades are part of the cup, instead of needing to be twisted off to drink. The only downside is the low power. It works for what we need, but wish it had just a little bit more power.

Ive been using a full size glass blender to mix my protein shakes but its such a pain to clean because of the huge glass that its made of. I bought this for under 20 bucks, it fits just the right amount of protein and milk and is super easy to clean. The only complaint like others have said is that it smells like burnt motor, but still works. I got a 2 year plan on it for a few bucks so im not reall worried about it.

I love this little blender. I don't have to drag out my large blender just to make a single serving. For such a small appliance it does an excellent job. I haven't tried it with ice cubes, but from I've read of other reviews of this product, it does a good job with ice cubes as well. I generally use it for soft fruits or milk shakes. It releases a mild smell from the motor, but that's the nature of this blender, and in no way prevents this handly little gadget from doing it's job. I highly recommend this product!

Wanted a blender to help mix protein shakes after workouts and this is perfect. Doesn't take up a lot of space and blends nicely. Can use the canister as travel mug if needed and the cord stores neatly around the outside of the unit. If you need a small and compact blender to make individual drinks this is perfect.

its very good, sharp, fast, good size and simple to use for a quick gym shake

perfect for 1 to 3 person recipes. we have a larger food processor from Kenmore and love it but sometimes for the small stuff this machine is just the right size. very easy to use and clean and the price is so low I almost felt guilty buying it. it really exceeded all expectations !

I was kind of worried about the size before I purchased but 14 OZ is actually perfect. Yes you can smell the motor but its hardly noticeable, its not overwhelming or anything. No big deal. It blends well, it blends fast, it gets the job done. I got it for $15 and im glad I did not go with a more expensive one. It's perfect.

This is perfect for making quick protein drinks before and after a workout. Its a traveling container so you can drink while driving to the gym. Its so easy to clean and doesnt take up a lot of space.

I picked this one up on sale for $15. Not a bad price considering the blender is small enough to keep on a counter full time and versatile enough to make a relatively large drink with ease. My only complaint is that the blade is permanently attached to the polycarbonate cup. I often wish this functioned more like a Magic Bullet or Ninja blender with the blade attached to the removable lid.

Will blend crushed ice, OJ, and ice cream all at once to make orange Julius and will blend soft fresh fruit with crushed ice to make smoothies. If the blender you receive is useful only for making chocolate milk, then take it back! These blenders are absolutely amazing. The built in spout helps minimize cleanup too! Best purchase I've made in awhile.

This machine is handy for smoothies, protein shakes, frozen drinks. The price is reasonable for what it does. I don't use the blender cup as a travel cup for fear of breaking or losing it outside my home. An extra piece would be handy. Overall, we've been pleased with it.

I own one for myself which I use to make multitudes of awesome ice cream drinks, health drinks, you name it. I bought one for a relative living in a dorm and I see that it is being used constantly. Can't go wrong for such a low price.

These work OK for making a smoothie for one person. However, don't keep the motor running for more than about 5-10 seconds at a time. You will burn out the motor if you do. Let the motor cool down a bit. Sometimes you will have to stir the contents to get everything mixed well. The jar does not come apart for cleaning. It's cheap, so don't expect too much.

Good to use it at home. Might be little difficult to carry and go out as the jar is little big.

This is great blender if you are single and are looking for little to no clean up. Hamilton Beach makes a great product overall. Compact, Cord wrap.
