I received this toaster in a box that looked like it had been through a war. The box already had a return label on it. Some joker at Best Buy, upon receiving the damaged box back, put it in a shipping box and sent it out to me to fulfill my order. This is the only method at our disposal to complain in a way that MIGHT be heard.

This toaster is perfect for everyday use. The wide slots easily fit bagels and thick bread, and it toasts evenly with simple settings. It’s compact, easy to clean, and looks sleek on the counter. Great value for the price!

I've been using the Hamilton Beach 2-Slice Wide-Slot Toaster for a few weeks now, and it's been working really well. It heats up quickly and toasts evenly, whether I'm making bagels, thick artisan bread, or standard sliced bread. The wide slots are super convenient and the toast comes out just the way I like it—crispy on the outside but still soft inside. I also appreciate the simple controls and the defrost and cancel buttons, which are handy. The toaster looks sleek on the counter with its black finish, and it's easy to clean with the removable crumb tray. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes the toast pops a little too forcefully, and the exterior gets a bit warm during use. But overall, it’s a solid and reliable toaster for the price. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something straightforward and effective.

Great toaster. Purchased to replace 10 yr old toaster. Looked everywhere to find a small size replacement. BB had Hamilton Beach at a Great Price! The toaster is simple without digital lights but it is fast! Easy to clean crumb tray and cool to warm outside. So far it is set on 1 and makes perfect no burnt english muffins.

The first one would not lock down. Returned and the second one works very good. Very good for a low priced toaster that was the Deal Of The Day.

Decent toaster for the price when on sale. The drop is a little janky like it gets stuck, but works fine once it locks down. I paid less than $30 for it since it was on sale, but i wouldnt recommend paying more than that.

We have only had the toaster for a few weeks, but it does its job. Highly recommend running it without food and letting it cool a few times before using it to toast anything as the smell is very strong, fresh out of the box. I ran it like 3, maybe 4 times before using it to toast anything, and by the time food was being cooked in it, the smell was gone.

Had problems with toasters over last few years. Bought a Black&Decker in July (about 50 bucks) Caught on fire ! This unit cost half of B&D. Toasts well - both sides. Listed online BestBuy reviews proved accurate. What a sweet bargain - so far ! Well constructed unit for this economic range.

Great toaster. Works for bagels toast and also for making taco shells.

Love the combination of black and stainless finish; coordinates well with the rest of my kitchen. A second feature I love is “defrost.” Since I do not use an abundance of bread, I like to keep my bread in the freezer and take pieces out of loaf as needed. The defrost feature allows me to take from freezer to toaster to prepare as needed.

The shipping box was fine, but the product box arrived damaged. However, this product seems to work fine for me and it is able to fit bread and bagels.
