Pros: Handles are nice and seem sturdy. The controls are easy to understand and work as they should. I especially like the auto warm function of the controls. It beats having to manually keep track of the time. The crock is finished nicely and is plenty thick enough to retain the heat as it should. The unit looks attractive sitting on the counter. The lid fits ok but I personally would like it to be a little tighter. However it is adequate for a slow cooker. Cons: The outside of the unit gets really really hot. Make sure nothing that can melt is close to it like a bread wrapper or plastic bowl etc. Also it has a very short cord so hopefully you have an electrical outlet where you want to sit it. I didn't :- (

This is probably one of the best slow cookers on the market today. Quality made and has all the functions that you need to cook a great meal.

On receiving the slow cooker, I was washing it before using it when the lid shattered. I have since returned the product to the store. I have tried to contact Hamilton Beach customer service. Have not been successful.

I made my usual Chili last night. Woke up with it burnt. I usual set it on high for 6 hrs. And its perfect.

We really like this slow cooker. For 2 people its and excellent size. Easy to use and clean. The only improvement that would be nice is to have a lock on the lid as it does spit onto the counter from the steam. I would definitely buy again.

So far I like this slow cooker. It is different than the one I am replacing which is at least 30 years old. It is different than it. But with that said I like the features. The time setting and love the warm setting. So it will stop cooking after the amount of time you set but them will keep your food warm. Easy to clean. It does get hot so keep small hands from this. The only draw back is you have to hold on to it to push the buttons or it slides. I think I will add some little rubber feet to the bottom. This is plenty of room for a 2-3 people meal. You might get a small roasting chicken in it but might be tight. I have put two chicken breast in with no problems.

Excellent size for an individual. Is programmable and cooks perfectly.

Very nice and works well. Great value. I used mine for a chili cook-off and it held up great and i got 1st place! Im not saying its because of this. But im not saying its not.

Love the ability to select temperature and hours needed to cook. It is just the right size for a single person.

The 4qt size is just right and with temp & time adjustments plus a 14 hr stay warm it’s a must buy.

Great slow cooker, perfect size. I like the time feature: I set it to 4 hours, and after 2 hours it automatically switched to the 2 hours light and then after 2 more hours it switched to warm.

The cooker cooks food as expected. The option for several different cook times is a good feature. The ceramic bowl gets very hot. The lid seems to fit tightly such that it sort of bounces letting out the steam produced while cooking, which is a little annoying at times, thus one needs to keep an eye on the unit to ensure a proper liquid level .

I gave this product as a gift to my Uncle. He cooks for large crowds all the time. The price was just right and it holds a lot of food. Extremely easy to use.

This crockpot cooked things to perfection. It has a timer on it allowing you to go about your business knowing it turns itself off. Perfect for the beginner cook.

I love that this is so simple to use. Sometimes when one purchases a slow cooker that does other tasks it can be difficult for we elder people to comprehend how to use it. This is a plug in, set temp and done. Cleans easily and looks good too! The price was cheap too!

We've only used it once but is cooks well. The material on the exterior (the stainless steel) is a bit thin and I do worry I might dent it, but you get what you pay for. There are plenty of more expensive options out there, built with higher quality material, if you spend the money. FWIW it's a good bang for your buck.

Easily programmed for hours and heat settings! And shuts off when hours of cooking are ended! Easily cleaned in dishwasher or by hand. Oval shape enables whole chicken or other more oblong meats to fit inside.
