    This is the best can opener I have ever had, I love it. I don't have to hold the can at any time. Just push down to start...it stops on its own when can it's opened. Sometimes I forget and am waiting to do something, then realize all I have to do is wait for it to stop and I just lift the can off.

    Our old Oester cn opener did not like to grip the cans. This one has no problems and opens can without me having to fight with the opener

    After my 12 year old can opener gave out, I ended up buying a couple of new ones that couldn't grip, much less open a can. Not so with my new Hamilton Beach can opener that works consistently every time. Also, I like that I can remove the metal piece for easy cleaning.

    Works great even with larger cans. I purchased this as a gift for elderly friend. This can opener is the closest that I could find most like her old one. Other electric can openers tipped over when trying to open large cans

    Needed to replace old unit which died. Spouse preferred this old-style cutter as opposed to some of the newer models. Also, it handles tall cans better than other electric openers.
