    Failed quickly

    Purchased this item almost exactly four months ago - February 7th, 2019 to be exact. It lasted 119 days. This morning it failed to pump the water from the tank to the cup. It will get about 1 ounce out, and then it dies. Unplugged, waited, and tried to use it again. Failed again. This is our second one of these coffemakers - same model both times. Both have failed at less than 6 months. If you want a coffeemaker, this is NOT the model you want.

      Hi Walterhpdx........ my name is Chris in the Quality Department at Hamilton Beach. We are sorry to hear about the problems you've experienced with our Single Serve Flex Brew Coffee maker. It sounds like the problem you are experiencing may be due to a clogged needle. Trying clearing the needle with an end of a paper clip to remove any coffee grinds that me be lodged inside. Then pour about 4 to 6 ounces of water in the reservoir, place the cup under the dispenser and press and hold the "Brew Now" button for about five seconds until the pump turns on and starts to dispense water. This turns on the pump to purge the water without heating. You will likely see coffee grinds in the water as the water pumps out into the cup. If so, repeat this process until all grinds in the plumbing are cleaned out. Then your Flex Brew should be ready to brew coffee again. If this does not resolve your issue, I want to help you further. Kindly send me an email at [email protected] and give me your name, address, and phone number along with the model number and series number found on the bottom of your Flex Brew.     After using for a week/6 days/6 cups it would not work anymore. I only used distilled water in it.

    Just buy the Keurig

    I bought this for work trying to save a little bit of money by not buying the Keurig. It is really finicky and won't work unless you have the max amount of water in there. Other than that we will see in a couple of months if I have to be a better boss and get a better quality coffeemaker.

    Stopped working on second camping trip

    System was nice while it worked. Great fit for my camper, but after a long weekend it stopped working. Kept getting to hot and shutting off. Could get 1-2 cups of coffee before having to let cool down.

    Died after 1 month of use. it wasnt hard to use. for k cups you had to use 8 oz. after one month i tried get a cup of coffee and it was smoking and thats it

    After only a week and approximately 3 uses, this coffee maker didn't work, after further review of the directions, says the drip portion may be clogged but must clear out with a paperclip, works but always get coffee grinds from the pods at the bottom of my coffee cup, giving it another week before I return.

    It does work and can fut a traek mug. However, it brews very slowly. If it wasnt for Best Buy shirtvreturn windiw we woukd taking it back.

    I wasn't much satisfied with this K-Cup machine as it only holds max 10 oz of water. I can put more 10 bucks and get a better and basic keurig

    If you're going to get a kerig, get it. This machine makes to much noise, it's slow and just not worth the time to purchase it

    I read the reviews and thought that the problems with it clogging would come down the road with use. That would be reasonable. But that is not the case. The problems with coffee grounds clogging up the coffee maker started after the first use. We can only use it if we clean it out after every use. A big waste of money for a well known brand. VERY disappointed!

    I would pass, if you want a good cup of coffee

    The unit was hard to close and latch. The needle always clogged with coffee grinds. Never got a full cup of coffee. Never had such problems with my old Keurig. Went out a brought a different coffee maker so I could enjoy my coffee.
