Good alternative to pricey pod brewers.

After some online review reading, I thought this would be my answer. It's slow. I'll keep using my regular Mr. Coffee maker to make 2-4 cups. Maybe use this for guests who want to try some "pod variety" coffees, or a cup of tea.

I probably would not pay more then $40 for it though. My girlfriend is a heavy coffee drinker but did not have a device that would properly do kpods or make a quick single cup of coffee, this does both. The included filter does great for single cups and it makes kcups perfectly.

Stopped working within 28 days

It worked for about 28 days with maybe 15-20 actual uses. Then it just stopped pumping the water. Terrible product. I spent the extra 40 and bought the Keurig version without the ability to use your own coffee. I rather use that.

Poor design, cheap construction

When you press the button it starts to tip forward, it has no support under the button for some reason. It warped from the heat over time, I returned it and bought a kuerig. Its worth the extra money

I bought this so my girlfriend could have coffee at my place in the morning. I've even used it for one shot hot chocolate.Just make sure you clean the filter holder when you switch between different types of beverages.
