Excellent single-serve coffee maker

This is an excellent single-serve coffee maker. I have been
using it with generic K-cups from my local supermarket,
and its performance has been excellent. I make two cups
each morning, and each cup is done in about 2 minutes.
The results taste excellent!
The two buttons for brewing are on the front. The
reservoir gage is easily readable on the side. The
coffee maker uses all the water in the reservoir in
making each cup of coffee. The reservoir is easily
filled from the top. Insertion and removal of K-cups
is very easy.
A special pod is included that you can load with
ground coffee. It is to be found inside the large
pedestal the cup sits upon. I have not yet tried it,
but can confirm that it fits nicely in the machine.
The size of the coffee maker will work with even
a crowded countertop. Its red color will fit in well
with most kitchens.
It is of excellent value, and well worth the price!

I have this coffee pot for nearly two years now. It is still working very well and brews a great cup of coffee, whether using a k-cup or your own ground coffee.
I love the versatility of having the choice of both ways. My husband uses the pod that you put in your own ground coffee and makes a cup at a time as the day goes on. No water standing in the bottom of a reservoir to grow mold!
I love that I can decide to have my Green Mountain Nantucket k-cup regular coffee in the morning and later on in the evening have a decaf Vanilla k-cup.
This machine COMES WITH BOTH holders: one for ground coffee and the other for the k-cups. No need to buy filters. The only suggestion I would have is clean the prongs sporadically so they don't get clogged.
There is a switch on the right side to turn the power on for either regular or bold brews. Unfortunately, when I bought it the price was a lot less than today's price!

Honestly, I love this thing. I used to own a Keurig version of this coffee maker, and it was more expensive, it was harder to see the water measurements, it did not come with its own reusable pod, and sometimes, it would brew a very small cup... And then the next cup would be overflowing the water from your previous brew plus your current brew all over the counter, full of grounds and very hot. I just never got a consistently good brew like I get with this Hamilton Beach one. One does have to remember that the more grounds put in the pod, the less water will make it through to the cup, so it does take a bit of experimentation to get just the right measurements, but either way, I still give it five stars. It's much easier to clean than the Keurig version of this as well, I found that it always leaked.

This coffee maker offers the flexibility to brew with both ground coffee and K-Cup pods. It’s compact, easy to use, and has an adjustable cup rest for different mug sizes. Cleaning is simple with removable parts. The main downsides are the single-cup water reservoir and slightly slower brewing time. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly option for convenience and variety. Highly recommended!

This is such a great single brew coffee maker. I can't believe I spent double and triple on Keurigs before. This really can easily brew k-cups but also real coffee too which is healthier. Both tasty, hot, and fast. It is also so small, I said wow when I placed it on my counter. Now I have more counter space to cook. I bought this for free after using a $65 gift certificate that I got from Best Buy after buying a TV online. Thank you!

This is the first hamilton beach keurig brewer ive used. Its much better than a cusiinart we had before this. You had to remove the plastic lid to add water, then remember to put it back on. It also had a light that would keep blinking if you opened the lid where you put the k cup. In order to stop it, you had to either out in another k cup or unplug the machine. It was very annoying. With this unit, not the case. The water reservoir flips open and closed, no need to put it back on. And there is no annoying flashing light. Instead there are two touch controls on the right hand side if the machine that do not blink annoyingly. One button for bold and the other button for regular. I have not really noticed a big difference in what they do so far as to the taste of the coffee or drink. It also comes with a little brew basket so you can brew your own coffee, you dont have to use k pods. The only downside to this machine that i can think of is it makes a loud clicking/popping noise when you close the lid, but that is probably because of the need to puncture the k cup.

This machine was in the Hilton Gardens Inn Hotel that we stayed at in Gatlinburg TN and we were so impressed with it I just to to find find one of our own! Ease of use, ability to brew multiple sizes and use of k-cup or your own grounds. What more can I say!!

Had a standard k-cup machine. In order to use loose coffee
required a special device. This machine quickly utilizes cups or loose grounds with provided adaptors. Also, the previous machine had a large reservoir which is unnecessary now as this device only heats one cup then shuts off. Smaller profile takes less space on my counter. No standing water residue to clean off as I did with former
resrvoir in previous unit. BUY IT!

Great little coffee maker. Can't beat the option to make ground coffee in a single serving

Still works well after lots of uses. I don't drink a ton of coffee, so it's perfect for me. Just loud enough that I know when it's done. Perfect cup every time!

All I wanted was a single-serve machine for K-cups and similar. The basket for grounds is kind of a pain, so I don't bother. The machine is easy to keep clean, and I keep the lids up after use to let it all dry out. I rinse the needles and whatnot here and there - too easy.

Great price and value for couple cups of coffee with a small footprint. Has removable k cup and needle for easy cleaning. Would recommend for single coffee drinker.

Works great, this one replaces the one I bought a year and a half ago and neglected the recommended vinegar cleaning for 3-4 months until the water quit flowing. Do not neglect the once a month cleaning especially if using every day.
