I bought this elsewhere, but I want to alert people. Maybe we got a defective one, but due to the warranty, it hardly pays to send it back. Shipping would cost about half the item's price. Quite often, it takes more than one full circle to open the can. When that happens, sharp barbs are created. Sometimes, only half of the lid is opened (see my photo).

This is the best can opener i have ever owned. It’s great to have no sharp edges to cut yourself. Very easy to keep clean.

Hello everyone, this is a solid built device. No sharp edges and opens from the side which has eliminated all those little pieces of metal landing in your food. This is important to me as I don't want to eat metal with my food. I recommend this to anyone.

This is a great can opener! It also cuts the cans on the sides to prevent someone cutting themselves on the lid.

Gave this as a present to my wife. She loved it. It's easy use and very simple. We were tired of those manual can openers breaking down. The blade is sharp . All you do is put the can and hook it up. Have been using since couple of months, no complaints yet. It would be interesting to how the bald change would come.
