    When I bought it, I was not aware that this is the kind that cuts the lid off of the can with leaving sharp edges to cut yourself on, what a great surprise!

    Cuts below the top on the sides. I love this way to cut. Top can be used to cover can to refrigerate if needed.

    I have arthritis and sometimes opening cans can be difficult but with this it makes it so easy. There is also little to no clean up which is a plus.

    Love it ! Wish i had known about this earlier, would have saved so many cuts and bleeds from use of the traditional can opener. True to it's name Hamilton beach can opener is smooth and easy to use. Would highly recommend it.
