This is the second Hamilton Beach can opener that I've purchased. I bought one for myself and was pleased with the way it can open all styles of can lids, creating a non-sharp lid. Bought this one for a friend.

Was hoping for no concact while opening. This was the closest i cld find, but this was my error

i bought it cause i needed a can opener i love it because it cuts smooth on the lids.

Absolutely perfect. This can opener leaves the can smooth aground the edges. I only wish it could hold the can while it opening.

Needed a can opener and had tried others that didn't work for us. This one looked interesting and was at a reasonable price. Was just what we needed.

This can opener is a huge disappointment. I bought this because of the smooth cut feature. First issue is it doesn’t consistently cut all the way through Second issue is the lid is difficult to remove when it does work. I had to use a bottle opener to remove cut lid Third it isn’t obvious when can is completely open therefore it will continue to go around and create metal shavings. Smooth cut is negated by metal shavings Honestly I’m past the point of disappointment. I paid a little more with the expectation of higher quality product. I am upset that this is even on the market!

Can opener is great! It even has a place to store your scissors! It opens on the side of the can instead of the top.

Our old can opener stopped working well, and we got this model to replace it. It does take some getting used to, as the top is removed from the sides, but it makes for a very clean cut.

A good can opener. Had one just like it and it lasted for years
