It doesn't cut at all.

No matter what I do, it doesn't even begin to cut into the side of any can!! I enjoyed my Ninja can opener very much and never had trouble with it, but it's no longer available. Hamilton Beach's looks like a Ninja, but that's where it stops. I need my money back.

This thing has been acting up with the last few uses. Today... I had to resort to the manual opener; not that a hand opener is an awful thing, but when you have poor hand strength due to arthritis, the manual can opener can be really tough to use. It's not like I've overused this, opening dozens of cans per day. This thing has MAYBE opened 2 dozen cans since April 2021, and that's a stretch. This purchase was an absolute waste of money.

Tried several soup cans, and only one of them actually worked. Another left metal shavings on the lid. The cans would slip out of the opener's grip. Returning this.

Hamilton Beach Electric Can Opener

Easy to use, no sharp edges on lids or can. Looks great and takes up little space on my counter. Like the fact that Hamilton Beach is a well known brand name and it lives up to its reputation. Reasonable price, too.
