Opens about half of the canvas you try to open, if that. Trash.

At first I was reluctant to purchase this type of opener, but I have a lot of faith in Hamilton Beach products. So, I decided to order it and give it a try. I am so glad I made the purchase. It's well worth the money. It cuts so smooth, and it's very quiet. I also like the fact that you can place the lid back in the can for any unused portion. I'm sure you won't have any regrets if you decide to purchase this product. And they can ship it to your home via UPS, the best shipper in the business...

Excellent can opener. Bought one for my mom so she wouldn’t cut herself on an old can opener. She has arthritis and is able to use it with ease. I ended buying a second one for myself. The magnet on it is very strong as it can hold up and open a huge can easily. So glad I purchased. I bought these can openers about 6 years ago and still working perfectly.

Hands down the best small appliance we have bought in 2020. Certainly the best CanOpener we have ever bought/gifted or seen. Even after seven months of continuous use it still operate smoothly. Cuts cans with perfection. I don’t like anything on my countertops, and while not the most attractive I’ve seen, this CanOpener is attractive enough to sit on the counter all the time. In any case it works like a dream!

Wonderful can opener. I love the way it prys the top open rather than cutting it making it both safer and easy to reseal if necessary.

Does a excellent job of opening cans. I really like the way it doesn't leave any sharp edges that I can cut my fingers on.

So far, we're happy with this can opener. It has a unique way to open the can and doesn't create a sharp-edged top that can cut fingers or fall back into the can.

Had one just over a year and half , hope this one last longer. Like the way it cuts the lid off .

It has not had a single problem with any cans. Bonus, with the way it cuts the lid, you can use half of what is in the can, and the lid goes right back on top, with a perfect fit. It doesn't slip inside the can, because of the way the lid is sliced. As stated in a previous review by another user, I would also buy this again, if it happened to break. It shows no sign of doing so. Well worth the money.

I absolutely love this product. It does everything that it advertises, and it is very safe to use. I wish I had this years ago, I could have saved so many cuts on my fingers and hands from other products.

Opens the cans from underneath so that there is no sharp edges to pull out or to pour from.
