I love this can opener but.....

The cutter gets dull and won't get the job done anymore. The reason I have bought so many of these, including as gifts to relatives is that the top has no sharp edges and you can put the lid back on for short term storage.

I like the fact it opens cans from the side and creates a smooth opening, as opposed to the jagged edges my old one did. Works fine.
