This HB food processor is a piece of garbage!! The spacing between the chop/shred disc is too wide which causes food to be mangled instead of precisely chopped or shredded. The Pulse feature goes on for much too long - a one-second pulse shouldn't last for 3 seconds! Worst of all, after only limited use over the past 16 months (1 year warranty?!) the driver-connection under the bowl has stripped out completely leaving shards of black plastic underneath; and the nut that holds the main spindle now freely spins underneath meaning that the food processor NO LONGER WORKS with anything in the bowl! The cost to replace the bowl/spindle unit would be more than the machine is worth! Forget about this "cheap" and defectively made machine and spend the extra money to buy a more well-made processor that actually works and won't break the minute the warranty expires!!!

Unit works great. I did have a spring from the lid go wonky, but it still works, just not quite as designed.

Was a Christmas present and used for the first time about one month ago. The very first time liquid came up and over where the top fits over the bowl. I tried several ways to use it in case I was wrong. However, it always leaked. I need to use it once a day. I called H/B over 3 weeks ago and was told they would send the parts, but I had to pay the shipping. I called to day, again on the 15th and the yacht that is paddling over from Chinnnaa is still not here. Cant say when the parts will be here. Also, the liquid can and does run down into the buttons if you are not very careful. I understand that parts can be defective but to have to be on hold for over 20 minutes each time you call and get no satisfaction is ridiculous. I give it a ZERO because I can not get complaint satisfaction!!

I ordered this food processor, it arrived with a broken lid. The lid is made of very thin plastic. I called to get a mailing label to return it and the CS rep automatically ordered me another one. I said "I want a refund, not another product". CS rep tells me, "Too late I already ordered you another product, I can't cancel it"... So, today I have 2 processors to return at $21.00 via UPS and 15 days in which to return the product, BEFORE I get a refund.....I would avoid Best Buy online, and do not purchase this cheaply made product.
