I bought this immediately after I lost my HERO4 in Davey Joneses locker jumping off the Rock at Waimea Bay, HI. The gopro has my name and number on it so if you go there be on the look out and hmu! But yes, this stick floats I had the opportunity to test it out on the lake and did not lose my new gopro hero6 and don't intend to.

Easy to handle and hold. Perfect size and floats too.

This is a GoPro branded item and it works perfect. can you find a cheaper product on Amazon, yes; is it of the same quality, NO! This handler is doing its job and it is essential with handling of the camera in challenging activity locations. You don't want to be fishing for your camera in the ocean.

This worked fine, took it to Hawaii and got some great shots while Kayaking and snorkeling. I wish it extended, so i checked and there is a floating grip that extends, unfortunately it wasn't available in the store (or at least the sales associate couldn't find one without looking)

Stays firmly connected to GoPro, floats well in the water and has a good bungee cord to attach to wrist. I was afraid to buy an off brand because I didn’t want to risk losing our GoPro. Only complaint would be GoPro brand accessories are much more expensive but they stay nicely connected so it’s worth the piece of mind.

Got this for a trip I took mainly cause I own the Grande which is too long. The size is awesome and is great to handle. I used it for snorkeling and the flotation game me a reassurance that I wouldn't accidentally drop it. Great recommendation for outdoor/water trip.

I bought this for my trip to south america. I did a lot of walking and hiking and this handle was the perfect travel companion. Its easy to hold and love the fact that it floats. the attached strap is great when you need your hands for something.

I considered some other "cheapo" version. Then I realized they were not as sturdy as this handler is. I dropped my GoPro multiple times and the handler did not snapped. it's truly a piece of mind going to the beach with it, because I know the Gopro will still be attached.

Worth every penny. When spending a lot of money on a device that could sink this is a definate must have.

We pretty much keep the camera on here and rarely use other contraptions. Easy handle, floats well, can view if you have target on screen.

needed a floatation for the new GoPro prior to going out to see the whales which regretfully was cancelled. It worked great though the floatation aspect was not tested, thankfully. now it is my go to handle for most videos.

Purchased the new and improved Go Pro handler for my trip to Jamaica and wanted to see if it would actually float and show the bright orange in the water. Well, it did as promised, I felt secured with the Handler being attached to my GO Pro which gave me some piece of mind.

This is a must buy! It floats extremely well and is easy to spot. I tested the grip by dropping my camera on my deep sea fishing trip and i was able to spot it in the ocean because the orange bottom kept it a float. The wrist strap is very strong and comfortable.

Bought this for my new GoPro to take to the beach. It worked great. The handler floats in the water and the bright orange handle makes it easy to spot. Also the way the camera attaches to the handler is very sturdy. No worries about it coming off.

This is a great accessory. You need to have handheld mount as well as one that floats.

This product is good for water sports it has a strap you can tie on your wrist so it will be safe and you won’t loose your go pro also if you do drop it in the water it would float with the orange floating above the water so it’s easier to see

Love this little accessory. Went on a trip and never took it off. Easy to carry, climb and swim. Did a tone of snorkeling and captured great pictures and video. Just make sure you have it in 4K and bring extra video cards or larger ones. Floats and takes a ton of abuse. Jumped off a 50 foot cliff into the ocean and the camera stayed put. Don't go cheap.... stick to the accessories provided by Go Pro you wont be disappointed.

Easy to use, and has a wrist loop so you don't drop it. It is also compact so it was easy to keep in my purse.
