Very entertaining but a but cheesy and good cinematography

a good cheesy monster movie in the theme of Van Helsing...

I was disappointed that a plot, supposedly set in middle ages (hunting of witches, burning etc) had so many modern weapons, a newspaper scrapbook but a cult follower of Hansel & Gretel, just to name a few. It was too fantastic, too unreal.

Here I was thinking this was something decent with Jeremy Renner, but I forgot that even they have to lower their standards to make a buck sometimes.

Thought this would be a great movie...great concept but the acting was dull and boring...don't know if it was meant to be campy but really can't believe I watched the entire thing

I bought this movie simply because it was in 3D and looked like it would have some good action scenes. the 3D was cheesy at best and the action was done so poorly that in one of the scenes where they are fighting a witch it is painfully obvious that it's just a stunt man in a dress and a Halloween mask. there's even a part where the witch is supposedly running at super-speed and it's just that old 1970's speed up the film trick, I honestly expected the Benny Hill music to start playing!

I thought was going to be a good movie with the cast but I have seen better. I would recommend trying something else.

Wasn't too impressed with this movie at all. Not quite sure what I was expecting but it will be the only time I watch this movie.

worth the time seen it! really enjoy the movie!! great acquisition for the collection.

decent movie grabbed this one out of the bins full of $5 movies.
