I was looking for a case for my mother's ipad mini. She already had the Apple "cover." I did not want to spend $35.00 on a brand new case and then I stumbled onto this. It is not made by apple, but it fits perfect. If you already have the Apple "cover," then just buy this "backing." It fits great and leaves room for the side magnets.

If your looking for non-bulky protection for your expensive iPad Mini investment this is what you are looking for. If you do not mind the bulkiness of an Otterbox, then this case is what you want.

Fits iPad mini like a glove. Nice feel to it. Extra insurance against scratching the back of mini. Cons; pricey, & translucent plastic acts like a light pipe. Example; depending on how mini is position, ambient light will cause edges of protector to light up which can be distracting.

I wanted a back that wasn't thick, and that's exactly what this cover provides. it's clear, so allows the ipad's actual back to be seen. and if I want to use stickers or a skin on my ipad temporarily, I can place and remove it without marring or damaging the back of it.

I love this cover because I am able to still see the apple logo on it. I feel like this clear cover allows the iPad to have a classic and sleek look.

Lightweight and thin good for protecting scratches, Not as good for protection against breakage, doesn't Seem durable enough for breakage protection .

Great product for its price. Works and serves its purpose. My main reason for the purchase is for the protection of the corners for bumps.

I use this device for my iPad mini with LTE and I love it I will soon be going with life proof but over all this is the best snap back case I have owned it hasn't broken like most of them do. I would Highly recommend this product.

I had ordered a cheap all-in-one cover and back from eBay. Edges started fraying within a week. Then bought this clear back along with the red smart cover. This back snaps right on and protects my iPad mini from scratches. Perfect :)

I love the cover except for the fact that it is slippery. I am afraid at times that it will slip off my lap or out of my hands.

Sturdy...am able to see the titanium cover and apple insignia.

I enjoy the clear transparency of this item. I have not dropped my ipad yet, so unsure if it will help protect it.
