Very nice but not much shockproof

It really doesn't provide much support for kids. I would stick with something more plastic / rubber for kids. I would wish they have the one that is made for the ipad for the ipad mini.

Nice and sturdy back case

This case is strong, smooth (very comfortable in your hands) and gives the iPad mini strength (rigidity) I've felt the iPad mini was lacking.

Light weight but protective case

This doesn't cover up the chrome back of the mini-ipad and can add multiple colors for the protective cover.
