I had an issue maintaining connection with my new laptop and desktop, it turns out that I just needed to update drivers. After the update, it pairs smoothly and maintain connection. The speaker pairs nicely with my Samsung S5 mobile phone and IPhone. It could accommodate a good distance from bedroom to the living room. Powerful speaker is loud enough for the living room and large bedroom.

This is my third device, I've tried other name brands. I ready to purchase a Sonos play 1 since I love my sound bar, but saw it was on sale. My family and I enjoy the outdoors therefore music is a must. Price for the Sonos play1 was high but know for quality. A customer service agent demo'ed and I was surprised, sound was clear and loud and it was on sale. Couldn't be happier, I saved 125 bucks off retail. Friends and Family have purchased after hearing.

For a small speaker it is very loud. Very good for traveling as well.

I was looking for a portable speaker to use in a hotel room while on business trips, as an alternative to wearing earphones for hours. I loved the design of this unit: it's light, the steel frame is sharp, the rubber feet & buttons feel nice, and it comes with a cool semi-rigid travel case. Unfortunately, the sound is just not what I was looking for. It works well at medium to high volumes, but it simply isn't engineered to provide satisfactory sound at lower volumes (e.g. sitting next to your laptop). I like to go to sleep with music in the background, but found the lowest volume setting (one notch above mute) still too loud for me when trying to drift off to sleep. And at lower volumes, I found the sound to be too focused on the midrange frequencies. The price ($80) was very reasonable given the quality of the unit, and if you are more of a classical/jazz listener and looking for something that can fill a room this may still be a good choice for you. I ended up returning this and getting a Bose Soundlink Color II instead. It was more expensive by $50, but is much better suited to what I need.

Its not as deep bass as the Bose speaker but its great for the price.

It didn't have the power behind the speakers like my Big Jambox. Definitely go with Big Jambox over this one if your looking for the full sound quality even though its a bit bigger. If you looking for something smaller with nice clarity then this product will be just fine for you.

Great sound, but the battery sucks. Doesn't matter how high or low you have the volume, it dies within like an hour. I just keep it on an extension chord at work now because charging it constantly became such a hassle.

If you're looking for great sound, this will deliver. If you're looking for long battery life, look else where. I would give it a solid 4 on sound quality but it's short battery life brings my rating down.

The sound from this speaker is unreal. Paid $79.99 at sale price when the regular price was $199.99. The name itself says it all. Oh, did I say I went back to the store to buy another one for our son-in-law as a birthday gift.

Maybe the unit i had was defective, but it had great highs almost to the point of extremely metallic in sound. I bought this based on my experience with other HK bluetooth products, and have to say i was very disappointed in the overall sound. This system lacked depth. Voices sounded ok. The speakerphone works well, but not even close to the Esquire 2. The esquire 2 has well rounded sound, so when i heard this one considering the form factor, i exected it to have a little more depth than the esquire. I was wrong. I would not buy this model again.

Have been using this speaker for about 6 months and it's great. Full range of sound. Any device (laptop, phone, ipod) picks it up and connects quickly. Good battery life. Clean look and design.

I liked the product too much, excellent sound quality and clear voice. Easy connection. I would have enjoyed more if it has microphone added as well.

I picked this up yesterday while it was on sale. This speaker is nothing special - and at the regular price of $199 you are MUCH better off buying the BOSE at the same price. At $49 its a decent speaker for the price. It's nice that it includes a case - but there is no room in the case for the power adapter and cord - just dumb.
