Sound quality is great, volume is great, battery life is great, and for the price you can't beat it.

I have been pleased with the Onyx mini portable wireless speaker. The overall sound quality is excellent. The rechargeable battery discharge time seems to be as advertised. I currently use the speaker primarily with the AUX- input (to listen to my main TV/stereo sound system in another room). I have not used the speaker with the Bluetooth function yet. Overall, the sleek design & excellent sound quality work well for me.

The speaker has a very good sound and a good bass for a full sound. Only non positive thing is that if you have small hands it is a bit awkward to carry. Would purchase again.

It's a decent speaker, good quality with solid sound reproduction. It also is very attractive, the blue color looks cool in my room. So far, no Bluetooth dropouts either. I'm pleased with my purchase!

This speaker sounds great. Really nice across the frequency spectrum. I was concerned about the amount of bass since many BT speakers seem to neglect that, but its been just fine. My only concern is the volume - it doesn't seem to get very loud. Definitely enough for a room, but probably not enough for a beach party. I use it in my bedroom to listen to music as I'm waking up and going to bed, and it's perfect for that.

I love the size and shape of this speaker. It blends in nice with decor and isn't massive either. I use it a lot in my 1400 square foot 3 car garage and it fills the space nicely. It gets quite loud and distorts but for tunes while working in the garage it's awesome. It's also great in the family room for background music. Realizing it's size and keeping my expectations real this is a great speaker with great Bluetooth range.

The speaker has excellent sound quality. The bass is less than the jbl charge x, however, the clarity is great. The speaker has decent battery life and can get very loud without losing quality.

this is best Bluetooth speaker for this size. sound is clear and nice bass for its size.

This HK Onyx mini exceeded all my expectations. It is smaller than I imagined, but this Bluetooth speaker puts out big music sound. In keeping with Harman Kardon sound this Bluetooth speaker is very clean and crisp in the sound it emits and can get quite loud in relation to its size. The bass is tight with the nice separation of the lows where bass guitar notes are clear as well as the bass drum in music.

I purchased this speaker to play music from my ipad at social events. The sound quality is amazing - very crisp and clear. I was looking at other brands when I asked the Best Buy representative and another customer what their opinions were on brand. They both said hands down this brand was the best. I would fully agree. It was incredibly easy to sync with my ipad. The only negative I have about the speaker is that the round shape makes it a bit difficult to grip tightly within 1 hand if you are moving it to a different location. A box shape would have been preferred or maybe an accessory with a handle to carry it in would solve the issue.

This bluetooth speaker blew me away with it's sound quality and loudness. I intially was looking for a gift for my niece, but this speaker sounds so good I bought two; one for me and one for her. We both love it. Will by another one soon to pair with the one I already have.

None of the good quality bluetooth speakers are inexpensive, so I thought I would like one from a company with a good reputation. What really sold me on the product was the ability to network several Harman bluetooth speakers together to ideally create a "whole home" audio network. That's the feature that sold me on it, as I can connect this to two other Onyx 3 speakers that are in other rooms, and I keep this one in my office on my desk to hear the music, and for handsfree phone calls. So far, it works great.

Great speaker for its size, and I know good sound,I consider myself an audiophile. For best sound try placing it in a corner or near a wall. The only complaint I have is there should be an indented handle to grab and carry because you have to be careful when you almost can't help pressing the little passive radiator in the back. I would not pay more than $100. At that price it's a bargain.
