I purchased this speaker for my son after Christmas. He originally purchased another brand. That really didn't perform that well. This Onyx 3 speaker is great sounding and looks pretty cool too. I would truly recommend this speaker to anyone that enjoys quality sound in a portable speaker. It's considerably larger than a lot of the other speakers, but their sound doesn't compare.

This speaker is great, it's small but yet very powerful, clean sound. I love that it's easy to carry around everywhere I go, when I put the volume up everyone turns and looks to see were the sound is coming from and when they see the speaker they tend to be amazed just like I was when I first heard it , battery life is great it last a long time to play alot of My music.

So I exchanged my damaged Harman/kardon - Onyx Studio 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black for the new Harman/kardon - Onyx Studio 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black because one of the leg stands broke. This is one of issues that any owner of this speaker can agree with me on, you need to be careful with the speaker leg stands as they are somewhat fragile. The new speaker seems to work well although I was used to more to the second version. In my opinion, the second version sounds a little bit louder than the new 3rd version. Other than that, I do not have any complaints. I would recommend to others as Harmon/Kardon is a notable brand.

Not only was this the best compact portable Bluetooth speaker I have ever heard or owned, it is also very inexpensive relative to its vibrant deep rich crisp sound. It puts Bose, JBL and all others to shame. I even went out and bought another to pair and it’s even more amazing. Thumps like the bigger wired speakers and internal battery last pretty long.

Great sound and loud compared to other speakers. On downside is it lower watts of sound when not plugged into electricity to save battery so less sound/volume and some quality.

This is our second speaker, we bought it to go with our first onyx 3 so we could have speakers at both ends of our room. They sinc easily.
