My sister and I wanted to buy bluetooth speakers for our mother. We were eyeing a Bose bluetooth speaker until I saw the Onyx Studio 3 in person. The Onyx Studio 3 looks different from other speakers and have nice subtle details. I love the leather detailing on the back of the speaker. It feels like a nice car interior. The bluetooth sync is very easy to use and understandable for someone who might not be very tech savvy. Also the sound quality is wonderful for a small portable speaker. The bass sounds nice, and the sound fills up a room up. Plus, the speaker looks great on the table. I totally recommend this speaker as a gift for someone special.

I was looking for a good sounding bluetooth speaker for a 10-meter cabin cruiser boat that had good bass. This is it. Perfect. Great for home use, too. I'm very pleased with it.

I got this on a "deal of the day" for work originally, once it came in and i tried it out and gave it a one two, it is not for the house. I use it at BBQs, parties, get-together, etc. the sound is clear. crisp and can be loud enough for a pouch party. Very nice speaker.

Love the design - sleek and modern. The sound quality is great, even when the volume is high. Bass is great, as well. Can't wait to get another one so that I can sync them!

First off, I bought this for home use only. And only the then because it was A deal of the day and had a huge price markdown. It. Sounds. Amazing!!! It does get a lot quieter when unplugged but I bought it for a kitchen speaker so it will always be plugged in.

You can change the volume with your phone. The speaker has excellent sound & nice amount bass. If you really want to rock out you can get 2 speakers & pair them.

Harmon Kardon is a great company that gives superior sound and high quality that you can hear compared to other speaker companies. Will not disappoint if you know what’s good sound in your music . Listen to how the artist intended you to hear it !

This re-chargeable speaker has really great sound and strong enough to fill any room with good bass and clear tones. The only negative is the reduction in power and sound as battery drains. However, the quality of sound is hard to beat and I've had almost every Bluetooth speaker on the market.

Purchased this to provide music for a small outdoor event and was very pleased with how it performed. While obviously not a weatherproof "outdoor" speaker, it did fine in the wonderful weather and provided a wonderful mood for the get-together.

This is hands down the best bluetooth speaker I've ever owned. It will blow any portable speakers out of the water. At $450, it's not the cheapest speaker around, and I certainly wouldn't buy it at that price. That said, I got it during a Black Friday for $150, and it's the best $150 I've ever spent. The speaker has a lot of bass, but not so much that it would drown out the mids and highs, which are crisp and clear. Put on a bookshelf, this looks more like a designer piece than a speaker. I would definitely buy this again, if it goes on sale at some point in the future

We purchased the Harmon/Kardon Oynx Studio 3 for our recent beach wedding. We used the speaker on the beach for entrance and exit music. We also used it for music during the reception. We couldn't be more happy with our purchase and look forward to using it for years to come. Sounds quality is great, battery lasted for hours, and its size makes it easy to take it along with you. It would be a great speaker for outdoor barbecues and tailgating. We are very happy with our purchases and many of or friends and family at the wedding were inquiring about the speaker.

The sound is perfect. Crisp & clear. Its portable so there's a party in the kitchen while I'm cooking. Deep bass & light weight. Highly recommend.

A little big if you plan on moveing it around otherwise this is as good as it gets - and by the way I'm a solid Bose buyer . Thought I'd try this speaker for the money and it has passed my expantions . Great buy for the sale price.

I was able to get this around X-Mad for about 75% off. Normally $450, I got it for around $110. Wow!!! Was I impressed! Its loud, rich, deep sounding. All music sounds good on it from rap to heavy metal. The only complaint I've had is from my neighbors for it being too loud. The only draw back versus some other speakers out now is its not waterproof and who cares after hearing the performance. This is truly a top of the line item and sounds as good as any other brand or better...that is to be expected from Harmon Larson though.

The Onyx Studio 3 provides the best sound reproduction that I have heard from a Blue Tooth portable speaker. When on sale for $199 this speaker was a great value and irresistible. Compared to my Bose Soundlink Mini, the HK Onyx Studio 3 has more dimension, more volume, and truer sound at higher volume. Granted that it isn't real portable, but it is great for sitting out on my deck while I work in the yard. I didn't buy it to carry around in a backpack. The positive reviews that I read about this speaker were spot on.

The sound is great but wish the battery life is longer. The price is a bit high.

Sound quality is amazing! I have the Bose SoundTouch as well & must admit that the although the Bose does sound extremely good, the Onyx blows it away with the bass response & a sound that definitely fills the room!

This speaker gives off a big, clear and detailed quality sound and I would buy this speaker for the sound alone, so the extra features such as built in microphone so I can use this as a speaker phone are a bonus.

Great sound use it in back yard deep sound loud enough to cover large area.

Exceedingly awesome when plugged in and pretty darn good on battery mode. A LOT quieter on battery mode but rich deep surprisingly awesome sound when plugged in. Bought it as a kitchen speaker and I love it.
