If you are new to purchasing Harman/Kardon let me tell you that you’ve waited far too long. I’m never disappointed the amazing bass and crisp sound from these portable speakers. After having an older model and listening to the upgraded version I just had to get it for myself.

Beautiful speaker. Nice just sitting. ... but most important is the impressive sound as expected from Harmon kardon. Despite being 10watts less than the previous models, the sound is just perfect to fill a room and we'll balanced. ... proud owner of first onyx 5 and all previous models.

I was skeptical at first when buying this product because there was no display in the store but i trusted the advice of the best buy sales associate. I am not disappointed. It has great sounding bass and easily connects to phone or tablet. Not bad for the price. I'd likely purchase it again.

We love this portable speaker. We have used other portable speakers, but were disappointed when the little legs broke in the back. This portable speaker is very durable, and the handle makes it very convenient. The sound quality is great and connections are easy and reliable.

I love that this updated version does not have legs. That is what I had to purchase this one, especially when it was on sale for an unreal low price. My first one still works well, but the legs broke off in transit. Whoever thought of this improvement should get a raise!

Good bass and clarity from mids and highs, can get up to a decent volume and not overly loud or distorted

I’ve thought about buying one of these for years and I don’t know why I waited. The clarity is incredible, even at high volume. The bass is impressive. Too impressive. And it can’t be adjusted through the speaker. Chopin shouldn’t cause the Windows to rattle.

Get this speaker when it’s on sale. Best speaker for price and quality. Bass is great and vocals very good. Battery life last a long time but when not connected to wall the bass quality goes down. Can not connect to multi speakers which is an upset.

We bought this speaker for my son for Christmas, and he has been very happy with it. He and his family spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer, and so they've used it a lot. They have been very happy with this gift. The sound is very good.

This speaker has great sound quality, especially for the size. Even sounds better than some larger speakers I have. Could be a bit louder but overall really good. Also feels really solid and well constructed. Blue and gold colorway looks amazing.

Love Harman/Kardon products. I have the Onyx Studio 3 and wanted to get my teenager one she can carry. This one is awesome. Its super loud and the BASS is amazing. Teenagers love their loud and banging music....this was a perfect gift and a great price!

Dont get me wrong. Its alright. Just nothing special. Listen. I have bought and returned a lot of speakers. A vast variety. A lot of them do not cut the mustard. I did decide to keep it though. The sound is good. Lots of bass. My problem with 98%of these speakers is that I feel they could be louder. This one as well. But maybe its just me.

I also have a Studio 4 which has a little deeper bass bu this is an all round excellent speaker. Love the carry handle which is a new design. legs have been replaced with a flat bottom

This is the 3rd speaker I have purchased from this company and this one is head and shoulders better than the to before period you will not believe the clarity the power and the base it is a rocket ship of a speaker I highly recommend

The sound is awesome!! Sounds a lot like a Bose!! The size is very convenient and sleek.

This speaker has good volumn and has great sound. Had trouble pairing with my Echo Show.

4.5 Best sounding Bluetooth speaker under $500 (can be found for less than half that). Due to size it can only get so loud. Will not connect to previous generation or the next one either which is quite a scheme.

This have a crazy bass!! There so loud and u can feel the bass! I do hate the fact that the battery turns to run out a bit fast especially when u have it at full volume but other than that I love these ! Don’t regret it

For a while now I have been wanting a Bluetooth speaker that brought the boom. I almost bought a JBL speaker before I settled on this. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I’d recommend who wants a lot of bass.
