Bass isn’t as strong as previous models

The bass on this one isn’t as strong when other instruments and/or vocals kick in.

Onyx 4 comparison
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Onyx 1 and 4. I use the Onyx 1 for outside. This model, the 5 is smaller than the 4. It has one less Woofer and one less Twitter. It's also NOT really for outside use. This speaker is meant to be stationary, not mobile. The frame is not metal and the covering is not waterproof at all. I also noticed its good for music but not video playback as the video and audio were not synced completely. I asked Harmon/Kardon customer service and they acknowledge this. You can pair the 5 with another 5 but it doesn't make it a right/left system and won't pair with another Onyx model. It's a good speaker for the price, I just found Onxy 4 a better speaker. Hope this helps.

Amazing speaker

Impossible to pair
