Unfortunately the 7 is poor in comparison. Audio quality overall is okay, although they should update their Bluetooth to avoid loss audio quality. If you are using this speaker as a portable party speaker this is not the speaker for you. If you are using it in party chain for a whole home affect this should be fine but stand alone it is not nearly loud enough. Some songs and high end tones come across grainy in my opinion and my friends agree that the 6 sounds way better. Definitely not worth it for the price
