The entire purpose of this movie seems to be setting up the next movie. It's long and seems to accomplish very little. I'm sure it will work well as part of a finished series but as a stand alone movie it is lacking some key plot elements. However if you are a fan of the previous films you will still want to see this one and I highly recommend buying all the Potter movies on Bluray!

I've enjoyed every single HP films out to date, but I find the half blood prince to be a bit disappointing. It did not fair well given its hype of being a dark and gloomy part of the series. The acting was great and well played by all characters, but lacked action sequences to keep the movie going.

Well all I can really say is that I am a hardcore for the Harry Potter books and movies and I will have to say this movie was nothing in order with the book, but it was still a good movie. I would recommend it for anybody to see, but the book brings alot more insight to what is really going on. Yes, I will buy it and watch it over and over!!! That is just me though...

I had heard that the writers made a few changes to the story to make the movie flow better, but come on. The added clips did nothing for me, in fact, I thought they really ruined the book version. The movie would have been much better if they had just filmed what was written.

Another great adventure story in the Harry Potter movies. Although this movie does not follow the book, really should of and been 2 movies, it is still great and in Blue Ray it is amazing. I bought this on-line and received it very quickly and at a great price too!

I have been a Harry Potter nut since the beginning and have only recently updated to a blue-ray player. The clarity of the picture and detail is so much better, and when you add in a digital copy for my computer, I can't help but say, AWESOME!!!!!

I bought the Bluray online with a very good price. Instore pickup service is easy. Can't find it cheaper anywhere else. It's a very good Harry Potter Movie. I have to watch it a few times to understand everything, but that's why I have to buy and keep it.

Our family is a huge Harry Potter family. This latest installment is, by far, my favorite of the series. The graphics and detail to the storyline are just phenomenal. You are kept hanging to the edge of your seat from beginning to end in this installment.

The movie is highly entertaining, much like all the other movies, but possibly not quite up to par as the others. Not a big fan of how they put the hardcore action scene in the middle instead of the end like in the book. And strays too much from the book for my taste, but overall very well if you can get around that!! :)

price was good, got a free magnet to go with and made my girlfriend happy on christmas. Atleast they had the same director from the last one on this one but felt as though it was missing something. It just didnt hold our interest as well as we had hoped. But since we are building a collection we are buying them all.

The story was good and well told for a movie. The only down side was a lot of time (I'd say about half the movie) focused on relationships and character's in love rather then the issues at hand with Valdermort and Dumbldor. All in all, great movie and a fine addition to the Harry Potter series!

The movie was good and action-packed. The problem I have with it is that it digresses from the book too much and they left out very important events (like Dumbledore's funeral). I will withhold final judgement until June 2011 when the second of the two Book 7 movies comes out.

I saw this movie in theaters, and seeing as it is not yet out on DVD, I cannot provide a DVD review, but will provide a short one for the movie. Yeah, nevermind. Just look at what I listed in the "what's great about it." I'll wait until its released to give a full review.

I think this is the best potter yet! It dose not follow the book completly but what movie really dose? It kept me wanting more from beginning to the very end! This will be one to contend with! LOOK OUT TWILIGHT!

Harry Potter and the the Half Blood Prince is a super part of the Harry Potter Series on Blu-Ray. I saw the movie on the big screen and enjoyed it very much and could not wait for it come out on Blu-ray.

i watch five dvds of harry potter as good ,six moive is ok ,little bore but it will be seven moive will super rate ,i like harry vs.Voldemort,but that are part 1 and part 2 ,it is true??? cant wait it

Overall, still a good movie. My Daughter and I still like the first 2 movies best. But this one still follow most of the books plot, but does seem to lose some along the way. The latter books in the series become more thorough and a movie just can't get all of it in the time allotted. Effects r still good, acting is still good but as always could be better. I wish the Directors would lose the gloomy look that has been adopted since the 3rd movie and return to some of what made the first 2 movies great. The "Dark" side of the film just seems to be the norm for the whole HP series now. Still a good movie, but do yourself a favor.....read the book afterwards or u will be disappointed in the movie.

I clicked, to buy this one vaugely aware that there were multiple copies out to purchase. I did not know, however, that this version did not come with the DVD of interviews of the cast and then the sneak peak into Deathly Hallows. I should have returned it before I opened it, but really, I just mostly watch the movie. I could rent the Blu-Ray version of the movie to get a look at the extras. This was my first experience with Eco Packaging. The entire case is not solid. There is quite a bit of the case that has been molded with holes to use less plastic, which makes it lighter to ship and cost less to create. If you just want the movie, enjoy this version.

My whole family enjoyed watching this movie. I had first gotten the movie for my little sister as a Christmas present and was yelled at my oldest that we didn't own the movie. So lucky for me it was on sale for a great price.

This was advertised and sold as having the DVD and Digital copies included in the package. No such thing is in the package. Bluray is awsome, but I don't have it in my i pod or the mobil player in the car.
