I am a Harry Potter fan along with my wife. We enjoy talking about the series in great detail. We were looking forward to this movie release, then we saw it. There is maybe 20% of the book in the movie. Having read book 7, I have no idea how they could fill in the gaps of NEEDED information that will make the last book (2 movies) make sense at all. Think about making chocolate chip cookies, and instead of getting ALL the needed information, you are told to mix butter and sugar, and microwave to cook. Yes, I'm a diehard, Yes, I think all the movies pale in comparison to the books, but I enjoy the movies a great deal. This one has been out for almost 2 months, and I didn't feel the need to beat down the door to own it. I will buy it because it is a Harry Potter movie and it tells a small portion of the story. I would recommend it to a friend because it may fill in some of the gaps between 5 and 7.

2 1/2 hours of teens trying to find a place to make out. plot was very thin and dragged on and on. The only magic harry has is making his wond light up. you would think after all the years he has been at hogworts he could do a little more. I dont think the director cares about trying to make the movies well anymore because they dont need too, as long as Harry Potter is in the title people will watch it.

I will have to watch it again to understand the story of this movie. Very different from the book

I Love this movie, and I have been impressed with the entire series, but I bought this particular copy because it had a digital copy advertised on the packaging. When I opened the package, I realized it provided a code to Download a digital copy. Not cool if you have limited internet access by a sattelite provider. When I went to the website with my code to attempt to download my digital copy, the website informed me that the offer was no longer available. There was no indication on the package that it was a limited time offer! And I tried to download it the day after I got it home.

If you are buying it for the BD disk, forget it the worst that I have seen most of the movie are in dark scenes thus unable to get a good HD viewing on the other hand you are getting 3 Dvd disk for a low price, wonder why.

could have been better, it was only good not great

Too many "not so great” things to mention, but here are just a few. Confusing, disjointed, and dark just to be dark... oh and whiney too. RENT it ONLY if you have nothing better to do.

The movie is very good but it was suppose to come with a digital copy and it did not. Make sure you keep your receipt

i must admit I'm not a fan of the franchise but come on he needs to learn how to fight. Really its been seven years and he still can't get it right. The movie was for me entirely to long.. To things worse come on they have to split the last movie into two parts why???????????????????????

bad plot, good CG. dont waste your money on the BD. just rent it and watch. hopefully the last of the series will be better.
