If you don’t already own the movie, then this is a great place to start. However, if you already own the Blu Ray you will have a hard time noticing much of a difference.

I didn't grow up as a Harry Potter fan, and thus didn't see the movies until I was 30. Even so, I love them and while it's hard to pick a favorite or the best, Sorcerer's Stone is the perfect launch point. In terms of A/V quality, I can't imagine this being any better. It's the best looking of the series and presents an immersive sound experience. If you can get the steel book, do so and you won't regret it.

This is coming from a big HP fan that has consumed a ton of content over the years. I wasn't sure about the value of the Magical Movie Mode, but decided to purchase. Really happy that I did as this was fantastic with the CC commentary and the other information that came up during the movie. We just watched the digital version, but sounds like there are more interactive features with the disc, so will try that at some point as well.

I love the series however the picture of the film, and I know it is a older movie is not that great for a UHD blu ray.

For you diehard HP fans out there, thisbis the version to get. While you dont get the DVD version, you do get the digital and an extended version of the film both in True HD. I already have the DVD version and will just be adding to this release so I have it in all formats. You also get the same release featurettes as he DVD and then some (commentaries). Hard to beat for the price for any new comer to the series or diehard collectors/fans of the books/movies.

Beautiful case. Special features are 10/10. Sound 10/10. The 4K disc compared to the regular blu ray isn’t a huge leap. This movie was filmed I believe in 1999 and compared to todays movies just looks rough but it is still an improvement. This is the definitive edition for collectors though and well worth it.

Harry Potter in 4k is a huge improvement over the Blu Ray. This is a must buy.

This was a gift to my daughter, her original copy was destroyed by her mother with a hammer. Giving this copy in its tin case was a humorous nod to enhance the gifting experience, not to mention ALL the extras that come with this anniversary edition. A priceless replacement to a beloved collection.

Easy purchase of movies for Xmas gifts at reasonable prices

20 years already on anniversary of this movie and yeah, they are going back to the pot on another re-release but at least there is another new bonus disc with this one. Just hope they re-release the others as well in steelbook, otherwise not sure it’s enough for another 4K purchase!

Beautifully done steelbook 4K/Blu-ray/Digital edition. Picture, sound and artwork are fantastic! Harry Potter's quest begins in his first movie of the series. Got this one at a $13.99 price, so couldn't pass it up. Highly recommended!

Loved the Harry Potter movies ever since I saw this one. The mystery of what happened and the characters drew right into the story. This Blu ray looks great, sounds great and is a must own if you don't have it on blu ray yet. It also comes with a digital download so you can watch it anywhere. Great starting point to a magical adventure that I found highly entertaining and enthralling!
