I previously owned the Blu-Ray version of this movie and was really interested to see if the 4K/HDR version was really worth the upgrade to that purchase. IT WAS! With the 4K/HDR version, you will see details you've never noticed before. The subtle lighting and details in the shadows make things visible that were merely shaded over before. You won't be disappointed.

The most nostalgic movie experience I'll probably ever have. Saw this when I was the same age as Harry and have been a fan ever since. The steelbook is cool because the cover looks like the original poster art. I hope WB releases all the films in steelbook.

This isn't going to be much of a review on the movie itself. It's harry potter. At this point you either like it or you don't. This is about the 4k vs bluray. I can honestly say that it's a solid upgrade from the blu-ray version. Sound is better and the image quality has definitely improved. They did a really great job on this one.

Awesome 4k master of the film. I was impressed at especially the colors and scene clarity when comparing it to my blu ray copy. I can only hope they will do individual releases for the rest of the films!

It’s Harry Potter! You’ve all seen it! Nice to have the individual steelbook though. I am assuming the other movies will come out in steelbook at some point as well. Did I need this? Probably not. But I collect them, so there is that.

While many UHD adopters will spout on about the increased picture clarity, I find that the HDR colors on the disks is more the reason to upgrade. The brighter deeper colors and more clarity in the darker areas make it worth the upgrade for me.

Wow. Finally got around to seeing Harry Potter -- only 19 years late. Bought the set as individual discs because I am seldom (read: never) happy with the packages of boxed sets... plus, my daughter wanted them. Good quality video and sound. Bonus Extras.

Harry Potter as a steelbook? Oh yes please. I held off getting the 4K box set. Hopefully the rest of the films in this series will have steelbooks soon. Got this when it was only 13.99!

A great addition for Harry Potter and steelbook fans. The artwork on the steelbook looks awesome and the set includes a bonus disc "The Harry Potter Magical Movie Mode"

Anyone who has ever enjoyed Harry Potter will thoroughly the first of the series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Whether watching it for the first or fifteenth time, this film has a tremendous cast, suspense, humor, and a great story line. All that and it manages to be family appropriate.

I have previously watched the Harry Potter series on DVD and Blu-ray. I always found some of the scenes too dark to really see what was going on. Not the case with 4k Hdr. Everything about this series looks better on 4k Hdr. I highly recommend of you are a Harry Potter fan

I Have all of the Marvel movies in 4K Steelbook that are available so naturally , I had to have Harry Potter. I just hope the do them all!! there are still 1 or 2 marvel ones I'm waiting on

Since we purchased new tvs, I haven't been able to figure out how to connect our VCR's (yes we still have a VCR!) And, we are left with many movies on our shelf that we really like and were not able to watch any longer. I found this DVD on BestBuy's website and was thrilled to be able to get it to replace my VHS version.

Any true Harry Potter fan will own this and the rest of the movies. It is a great adaptation of the book and story itself. The purchase comes with a Blu-ray and digital version only, so if you are looking to find a set with the DVD as well, you'll need to look into the boxed set!

My nieces and nephews are now interested in Harry Potter, and so I wanted to be able to have the same experience I had at the theater when this first came out. This Blue Ray DVD makes a perfect afternoon movie day! Just pop the popcorn and your ready.

As an avid HP fan I can’t betin to tell you the difference in watching this is 4K! The colors are so vivid and beautiful I feel transported directly into that world. As for the movie, amazing (of course) and will of wizarding fantasy fun for all ages!

If you love Harry Potter and have a 4k TV and 4k blu ray player, this is a great deal. I would recommend getting the individual movies instead of the 8 film 4k boxset collection because the collection doesn't come with the special features from what I've read.

Awesome movie so glad its released on steel book. love the steelbook version. hopefully they release all the movies on individual copies. I will purchase them when they do

This is a funny silly film made even funner because it's now in 4K UHD. 4K is the future if you don't have it you need to get on the ball seriously. Best picture and sound you can possibly get.

Love the cover art and the interior art on this steelbook! Was also an amazing experience to finally see one of my favorite movies of all time in 4K!
