How does Harry Potter get better? When you can watch it in 4K.

I waited a long time to upgrade my Harry Potter DVD collection. I knew I loved the films themselves and I knew I wanted to watch them in the best quality possible. I thought of buying each one separately, but I knew that once I watched one I would want to watch them all. This 4K collection solves both problems. Now I have all the films in the highest quality they may ever be. So glad I waited and got them at Best Buy's sensational price!

I’m pretty happy with the picture quality and the sound quality of this set. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel having DTS-X as opposed to Dolby Atmos for sound, but it’s pretty awesome in my opinion. I checked the BluRay versions and there’s not much in the way of additional content but I owned the original 8 disc BluRay set and so for me personally it’s a no. Issue, especially when I get extended editions of the first two films. The quality of the packaging was really the worst part about this boxed set. The flimsy plastic hinged two sided disc holders are pretty terrible and have a hard time holding the discs in place, so be very careful when you open the sets up. Also I was perturbed there isn’t a digital copy of the films and would have preferred to have that over the BluRay copies included in the set.

Great 4K box set. Comes with all 8 movies on 4K and Blu Ray + Digital Copies in 4K.

The packaging is nice and compact with holders for each disc looking like that of the pages in a book. Comes with an expired digital code but the best buy listing doesn't promise digital copy which is fair. Tried the 4K and it looked good. The menu is basic. No options for choosing audio format but the audio sounded good to me when I played in my 5.1 system. The cover does mention DTSX and/or 5.1 depending on the language and movie part. Overall I would recommend this set if you like the Harry Potter series

great movies, great quality but i wish that this edition could be more creative

I very rarely would rate a series of disks so low but I have no choice, despite my kids' (and my) affection for this great series of movies. My low score is 100% based on the encoding of the 4K disks. Keep in mind, this set contains both 4K and regular 1080p BluRay versions. The 1080p disks are beautiful - they have bright colors that pop and great audio. The 4K disks are unwatchable - and that goes for every one of them. I have an Oppo 203 4K player and a Samsung 8500 and these 4K disks freeze in both. I would understand if this just happened in one player (especially the Samsung which has questionable quality) but absolutely not the Oppo. I have stopped even attempting to watch the 4K versions because they will freeze and pixelate in the same spots every time. If I attempt to fast forward through these, sometimes I can and sometimes I cannot. Sometimes I even have to wait forever to be able to go back to the title screen and skip ahead an entire scene or two. I am highly disappointed with this boxed set (the 4K disks) and wish I discovered this early enough for a return. I cannot recommend this particular boxed set to any HP fan.

This item included by Blue Ray and 4K UHD versions of the movies. The 4k UHD video quality is slightly better than the Blue Ray if you are looking for the details. The blacks are blacker, and the sharpness is better. It is difficult to improve older movies to a true 4K UHD picture, but this was about as good as you can get. As far as the movies well it's "Harry Potter" what else can I say!

I love all of the movies in this series, they are all great. However even though the 4k with HDR picture quality improves as the series goes on, it never reaches the quality I look for in a UHD transfer. Only slightly better than the Blu ray versions. Still worth the pick up for me because I never owned the Blu ray versions.

I have seen parts of these movies on TV put never watched them. I decided to buy these in 4k because I have appreciated 4k movies in the past year. These are amazing movies in 4k. These films are amazing, they did a great job making them. I should have watched these films when they were released in theaters but now I can experience them anytime I want. Going to watch these yearly from now on.
